With it being Moreton Show this weekend and thinking about local agriculture and wildlife, we thought we would share something a little different this week.....
For a few years now, we have had regular hedgehogs visiting our garden at home for food and shelter. We built them (I should say James built) some lovely houses and feeding stations so that they can eat and drink in the dry and out of reach of predators. We have become quite obsessed and have several cameras to monitor their behaviour. Here is a photo inside the feeding station as one of them is having supper whilst holding onto the bowl. The video is just for two minutes but shows our rather round lady (feeding up ready for hibernation) having a few issues when having a nice little scratch and then attracting unwanted attention from the chap who had been lurking in the bushes!
