For some time now I have wanted to use the skills I’ve acquired over the years ti help others.

As a child I spent many years learning stage skills and the art of public speaking and being able to deliver verse and pros.

The drama group I belonged to trained us for the L.A.M.D.A exams and I often achieved very high results.

I also was part of my school’s public speaking team and we got through to the Semi finals where I won Best Vote of Thanks for the speach I delivered. (I was particularly proud of this).

I was also part of the Thordyke Young Stagers where I spent summers devising and performing in shows thatcc be we put on for paying customers (as well as our family).

Recently I also took part in my very first Am Dram Pantomime (which I loved) and was a man eating plant in The Little Shop of Horrors.

I have so much knowledge and skills that I know could help others in speaking to their clients both in videos, live streams and at face to face events as well being on stage.

Day 90) ~ Puzzle and Games

Wow I can’t believe I’ve hit 90 days of my challenge 365. It means that I have, since February I have consistently worked towards creating my new show.
It has been consistent rather than consecutive days as I’ve had a few days where I have not been able to do something.
But by giving myself this challenge I have managed to create a completely new show that I am very proud of

Today I found these two awesome books in a Charity shop.

For 50p!!!!!!

Now I know I’ve seen/ learnt/ used many of the puzzles in my shows so these are a great reminder.

Also there are some amazing new ones that I will be able to learn and put in to my routine.

I love finding little treasures like these, it helps to make my routine different and unique to me.

In 10 days I will hit 100 and I’m planning to ramp it up a notch.

Day 88) ~ My New Group

Today I’ve launched a new face book group where I will share all the tricks of the trade in keeping children engaged and entertained.

I want this to be a community where people can share their skills so that we can all work together ti give our children the very best start in life.

Times are so tough at the moment with the cost of living going up and up I want to show parents that you don’t need loads of money to keep children engaged and entertained.

As it’s half term this week I will start with a few lists to help families with some ideas but I want to also invite other people into the group with their skills and expertise.

It will progress to giving entertainment ideas for events, parties, going on holiday and even Weddings.

I’m very excited about this new venture.

Here is a very quick and cheap way to create a bubble blower that makes lots of tiny foamy bubbles.

The kids at the party today absolutely loved the ones I made. Here’s a quick video to show what I did.

This is now my fave piece of kit ever.

I’ve wanted to do this for as long as I can remember, ever since I started doing Bubble Magic over 30 years ago.

I so wish I’d got one sooner.

Day 86) ~ Balloon Modelling Practice

I haven’t done any balloon twisting for nearly a year but it seems like it’s just something you don’t forget.

I remembered how to make 8 different animals (out of just one balloon) and a sword.

All packed ready for tomorrow’s party.

Wow 9 years ago.

It was a day that was nearly as hot as today.

It was a celebration to raise money for the Mevagissey Christmas Lights.

So it was given a Christmas theme, which was great, but my Christmas costume is was made out of a wool tail jacket.

It was being in a sauna all day.
But so much fun.
And I got to meet the real Santa.

Day 84) ~ Shopping Trip for new Props.

I’m putting together a whole new magic show and wanted it to be unique to me.

I love the idea of a show that I have created that absolutely no one else is doing. So I am making/painting my own props that will fit my theme.

What do you think of the worry monster? We are going to do magic to help him escape from a locked cage.

Then he will have a special message for the birthday child.

I want to create a really magical experience.
