So sad to hear the news that Rob Burrow CBE has passed away aged 41.

Rob spent his entire career playing for Leeds Rhinos and after retiring from playing became the coach of the Academy team.

In December 2019, Rob was diagnosed with motor neurone disease and since then he has dedicated his life to helping others who are suffering with the condition through fundraising and raising awareness, this has enabled a new Rob Burrow Centre for MND to be built in Leeds to care for patients and their families for years to come.

Rob passed away on Sunday at Pinderfields Hospital surrounded by his family.
We send our deepest condolences and sympathies to Rob’s wife Lindsey, their children Maya, Macy, and Jackson, his parents Geoff and Irene, his sisters Joanne and Claire and his wider family and friends along with his friends and team mates at Leeds Rhinos.
