For the couples who are looking for a beautiful and unique space to marry but don’t need anything else, you can now hire one of our spaces for up to 3 hours, to have your ceremony and toast afterwards with a glass of fizz before heading onto your favourite restaurant or for a romantic picnic.

This isn’t just a business for us. It’s part of our love story too.

Back in 2012 when our Alison married Phil on the family farm, they knew that many couples would follow in their footsteps.

They knew then that the farm, with it’s stunning location, would be the perfect place for a wedding venue. They both left their corporate jobs and started building their weddings, events and hospitality dream, later joined by their ever growing team of like-minded people who add to the magic 💫

“I don’t even know where to begin!! But if you are thinking about booking your wedding here… DO IT!! You will not be disappointed!! We only looked at this venue and instantly I knew that was where I had to get married! We married yesterday at the Barn and quite honestly it was even more than I ever could have hoped for! The whole process has been faultless… Nicola and Sophie are worth their weight in gold and can’t do enough to make your day nothing other than perfect!! So you can opt for a private coastal ceremony followed by a tractor ride back over the dunes to the paddock and yard for the imposrtant signing bit and a celebratory outdoor drinks reception.

The beach at Druridge Bay is truly the jewel in our crown!

We’re lucky enough to own a stretch of the Northumberland coastline and the gorgeous dunes are available for our couples to use for their ceremony, drinks receptions overlooking the bay, camping, and glamping.

If you’re in the midst of wedding planning you might have already considered whether or not you want to arrive by Rolls, Uber or horse drawn Cinderella carriage - and these are all doable at Barn on the Bay - but we’d like to see your snazzy vehicle hire and raise you one tractor.

Perhaps one of the most unique ways of arriving onto the dunes in time for your ceremony, we’ll also ferry your guests over to their seats ahead of your arrival too, to save their shoes. What could be more perfect for a rustic farm style wedding on the beach?

Just in case you’ve ever wondered why we’re called Barn on the Bay, this is it. The Barn. Well, one of them!

We are a farm on the Northumbrian coast, with a number of barns and buildings for you to choose to celebrate in after your romantic, sandy ceremony on the dunes. With a seven mile stretch of Druridge Bay at your toes, you won’t be spoilt for beachy shots but, just in case, we made sure our farmyard is just as picture-worthy.
