Here at The Barn On The Bay, elopements are our jam. Just you, your love, a handful of guests (12 max, because we’re all about the intimate vibes), and a backdrop that’s straight out of a rom-com 🌊✨

Say ‘I do’ overlooking the sea, in the paddock, on our verandah, or inside our charming Calico Barn. We’ll handle the seating, the fizz, and the picture-perfect setup. You just bring the love (and maybe some tissues for those happy tears). 🥂💍

At The Barn On The Bay, we’ve perfected the art of intimate weddings just for you and up to 20 of your favourite people in our Calico Barn.

Say your vows in a setting that’s all about the feels, then indulge in a three-course meal with table service (because who wants to get up when the food is that good?). And when the dining’s done, the barn turns into your private dance floor - or a chill zone with lounge chairs and a bar for those who prefer sipping over stepping 💃🍷

Never thought you’d see your mum or nan dressed up to the nines and sat in a tractor trailer? Well, think again!

Here on the farm, we know how to do things properly! And that means you can opt to shuttle your guests to a ceremony on the dunes aboard the most appropriate means of transport we can think of! We’ll even throw in a genuine bonafide farmer to play chauffeur too!

So if that wasn’t on your wedding bingo card, you might want to add it on. They don’t call us one of Northumberland’s most unique wedding venues for nothing!

There’s just so much open space here at Hemscott Hill Farm! Consider us your blank canvas and run with it!

For those couples who’d like guests to stay over, we have space for that too! You can choose an overnighter package where you can all stay in the dunes in our glamping pods, or guests can set up camp in tents and wake up to the sound of the gentle waves.

Our overnighter also includes Calico Barn, our bunk barn located at the heart of the farm. The choice is yours.
