Set in a secluded wooded ravine on the banks of the river Coquet, Brinkburn Northumberland’s six luxury holiday cottages are

the perfect home away from home and the ideal escape for couples as well as larger groups. Fulfilled customers combined with weddings which span three days set us apart from our competitors. Our venue can also be hired for wellness retreats, workshops and corporate events. We have a 30 mat studio located in The Barn that can be hired for day and residential retreats. In 2026 we will be relocating the venue up towards The Barn, so 2025 is your last chance to get married with The Stables & River Coquet surrounding your guests whilst they enjoy reception drinks ✨

We cannot believe that in 2025 it will be our 15th year doing the most amazing, beautiful weddings and creating so many lifetime memories for not only our couples, but their friends and families too ✨

REAL WEDDING // LAUREN & JAMES ✨

Lauren & James celebrated their three day weekend with us at Brinkburn in August and it was truly magical ✨

From their confetti moment which led straight to their Prosecco tower, before being whisked off for the all important couple portraits surrounded by our 12th century Priory Church & historic Manor House ✨

The following day arrived on site to serve those guests staying with pizza to continue the celebrations before everyone departed on Monday morning ✨
