What a great night last night - 'Celia Bryce Band' and 'Andy Craig'. Excellent music and musicianship on display throughout the evening. Many thanks to Rosie and Scud for setting up the 'Foxes Den' bar in the car park; many thanks too to Michael Donkin for his wonderful 'band' of volunteers - and, not forgetting the audience who 'turned out' on a dreich evening - but were handsomely rewarded for doing so. Thanks to you, and to everyone, a proper pre-Feltonbury2025 evening - on three months to this year's Festival

Pre-Feltonbury - Saturday 22nd March - the excellent Celia Bryce Band supported by Andy Craig at Felton Village Hall

The ‘Celia Bryce Band' is Tyneside-based and features the singing and song-writing of award-winning author Celia Bryce. They have released 3 albums and an EP to critical success. Two of their songs, "Workers" and "Mayday 1916" have been finalists for the UKCountryRadio.com - Listeners' Club Song Award.

Andy Craig will support with a solo spot and it’ll be a chance for him to showcase some of his own songs old and new.

Victoria Robinson is 'one of our own' from Felton, and who played at the very first Feltonbury.

Since then, she has played at many prestigious venues, and, together with Annie Ball, another hugely talented muli-instrumentalist, are performing as a piano duo playing ‘Ma Mere L’Oye’ by Ravel and ‘The Nutcracker’ for four hands by Tchaikovsky - Budle Hall, 1pm , Sunday 24th November 2024

Lost property - two folding camping chairs. If your cupboard has suddenly sprouted two extra ones let me know.

The wristbands are off, and the banners are down, and all vestiges of Feltonbury2024 have returned from whence they came - which means? Feltonbury2025 is already being planned!! Seriously!!

Photos soon, but what an amazing weekend - the Friday night worked well, so that's 'in' for next year, new and reconfigured venues worked incredibly well - and what an outstanding array of poetry, dance and music - all supported by state of the art PA. The volunteers are our 'Hello to Feltonbury faces' and welcome everyone to this community-focused event. Catering and drinks of all styles to suit all tastes. An incredible achievement for a village that 'punches way above its weight'.

And attendance by a community that knows how to enjoy itself - the buzz and the vibe were evident throughout the day.
