Found property - a blue and white sunhat.

Lost property - two folding camping chairs. If your cupboard has suddenly sprouted two extra ones let me know.

Compare this with other events - remarkable lack of detritus!!

The wristbands are off, and the banners are down, and all vestiges of Feltonbury2024 have returned from whence they came - which means? Feltonbury2025 is already being planned!! Seriously!!

Photos soon, but what an amazing weekend - the Friday night worked well, so that's 'in' for next year, new and reconfigured venues worked incredibly well - and what an outstanding array of poetry, dance and music - all supported by state of the art PA. The volunteers are our 'Hello to Feltonbury faces' and welcome everyone to this community-focused event. Catering and drinks of all styles to suit all tastes. An incredible achievement for a village that 'punches way above its weight'.

And attendance by a community that knows how to enjoy itself - the buzz and the vibe were evident throughout the day.

Thank you all. Neal

Plan your Feltonbury

Friday evening - 6pm - 10pm - 'Poo-Bag Fairies', 'Meantime', 'The Tinstones' and 'Jackdaw' - a great,and rocking, way to start Feltonbury2024.

Saturday morning - 11am onwards - Grab you car parking slot and enjoy a coffee/cake at 'The Pant House', 'Gallery 45 Courtyard' or 'Felton Village Hall' whilst giving your support to 'The Noterries', 'Stockbridge Rendezvous', 'Ann Porro', 'David Roe' and 'Tom O'Donnell' who've 'all got out their beds early' to 'open' a full day's music and poetry entertainment.

Not long afterwards, venues at 'Gallery 45 - Long Room', 'The Pant House' and '29, Main Street garden' open up with some more excellent performers. Next up is 'The Bridge' venue with a chance to enjoy the music whilst perusing the 'Arts On The Bridge' exhibition.

At some day make sure that you visit Feltonbury's new venue at 29, Main Street - be assured it will be worth your while doing so!! Don't say that you weren't told!!

A bigger and better 'line-up' this year - so, don't miss out on any part of it. A number of the acts are able to do two slots, so plan ahead and organise when and where you'll be.

The weather forecast is looking good for Feltonbury on Friday 21st evening and Saturday 22nd !! That will explain all of my strange rain-dances in the Main Street, and following weeks of miserable weather, it finally looks like summer may be arriving - and 'bang on time' too !!

All the planning is coming together, and everything is looking great for another excellent Feltonbury event.

Absolutely delighted to have a new Feltonbury venue at 29, Main Street - (just down the hill from Gallery 45). This is a garden setting, accessed via the side passage (note - some uneven paving) where you'll hear some great musical acts, whilst enjoying panoramic views over the village .

Remember to hoard and bring you £5 notes for gate entrance - very 'old school'!! However, I'm advised that cashless purchases can be made at 'The Foxes Den' beer tent and at 'Crust And Castles' pizza tent.

Banners and posters are 'up' for Friday 21st (evening) and Saturday 22nd (all-day). The Friday evening is a 'first go' for Feltonbury, and, assuming it's the success we believe it will be, we'll revise the banner. So, give us that support - and see you on Friday 21st.

Wow!! What a day it was for Feltonbury2023!! I have just 'surfaced' from post-event efforts and now able to catch my breath and give an immediate update.

The day totally matched what I had planned for - even the weather was better than the booking that I placed last September. So great to see so many people enjoying so much music, dance and poetry across the village.

None of this would have happened had it not been for the marvellous efforts of all of the performers whom you saw, heard and participated with - thank you all so much.

Huge credit to the volunteers who are the event winners!! They made the running of the venues so smooth and easy, ensuring that everyone was welcomed and directed to wherever they needed to go. Enormous credit to Michael Donkin for making all of this happen - as well as creating the Feltonbury website - which is of increasing importance.

High quality PA, with slick changes between performers, has become a hallmark of the event success. No long delays between sets, nor dodgy amplification. This is making the event so popular with performers and audiences alike. Many, many thanks to all PA providers - especially when several 'stepped up to the plate' at short notice following a challenging few days when the whole event nearly had to be cancelled altogether. Yes, it was that serious!!

Running alongside 'Feltonbury2023' was the 'Arts On The Bridge', making this another interesting venue and popular throughout the day. Passengers on the buses must have been tempted to alight and join in. I wonder if any did?

A crucial 'behind the scenes' element is the 'Tent Team', ably led by Trevor Reynolds, which created the 'festival site' on Friday, continued to expand it on Saturday and 'collapsed' it on Sunday back to our normal village.

'The Running Fox' provided free lunch boxes for all of the volunteers and the visiting musicians - a significant contribution, an one that is greatly valued by all of those who qualify.

'Crust and Castles' and 'Batty Wines' stalls were equally popular - and great appreciation from me for their efforts - particularly under the blazing sunshine.

'Foxes Den' and 'Gallery 45' - what a contribution from both as Feltonbury descends and converts their premises into music, dance and poetry venues. Rosie and Scud? Truly astonishing - and so many thanks for allowing us to transform your back garden into a genuine 'music festival'. How many of us can boast that?!?!

The question has already been asked - next year's 'date to save'?
Unless something forces a change, set aside the weekend including Saturday 22nd June as Feltonbury2024.

I've already been approached by two new acts who want to join us - so it will be bigger and better next time.

Photos are coming soon - and these will be posted for your enjoyment.

The final thanks are from me to you!! Thank you for coming and making Feltonbury2023 the success that it has been!!! You're all invited to Feltonbury2024.
