💥 Loose Articles Kick Like A Girl - Extra Time Project
The project supports young female/non-binary people in the live music industry through a program with the band Loose Articles. Participants can shadow the band and their crew during set-up and sound checks and participate in a Q&A session. Early-stage bands can secure support slots and free entry. To participate, register your interest and attend the gig in the evening.

😌 We warmly invite you to our Wednesday Welcome! Each Wednesday we invite you to join us from 1 to 3pm for a couple of hours of friendly chat, a hot drink, and creative activity.
Our wonderful partner organisation, Cabasa Carnival Arts, will run our next two sessions on February 12 and 19. Come along to learn about indigo and resist dye techniques and to help make beautiful indigo-patterned fabric for an event in Oldham.
Alternatively, you can bring your own craft project from home, play one of our board games, log in to our online computers, or just enjoy being around others for a couple of hours with a hot drink. No sign-up or payment is required.

@TCandtheGrooveFamily is a 10-piece collective celebrating cultural unity through music. Driven by drummer Tim Cook, they perform in various genres, including afrobeat, breakbeat, jungle, jazz, and highlife. They have performed alongside K.O.G & The Zongo Brigade and London jazzers. Their debut album, 'First Home,' received support from BBC Radio 6 and Jazz FM. They made a name for themselves at UK festivals in 2022.

✨ We are thrilled to have Zenaida as our special guests this month!
Amy and Pat met in a band and founded Zenaida, a Brazilian choro trio. They go into the sounds of Brazil, Cuba, Argentina, Venezuela, and Uruguay, as well as those of Central and South America. Rococo Flourishes, their forthcoming EP containing compositions by Baden Powell and Eduardo Martin, will be performed.
