And help them to last longer by following these easy care tips…

If you’ve received a gift bouquet for Mother’s Day, following these care tips will help your flowers to last the longest time possible.

• Remove from aqua pack, preferably within 48 hours

• Snip the cellophane to release water and remove packaging - do not untie the bouquet

• Cut the stems at an angle before putting them in water. This helps them drink more easily and reopens the stems if they’ve been transported out of water.

* Remove lower leaves or flowers that will be below the water line as these cause bacteria which will shorten their vase life.

• Change water, re-snip stems AND clean the vase every couple of days

• Do not place your flowers in direct sunlight, near a draught or radiator

No one warns you that running a business means wearing a dozen different hats—accountant, marketer, tech support, and now, apparently, PCI compliance expert! The certification process and endless technical questions was a bloody nightmare!

I’m a florist for goodness sakes. So much technical stuff that just completely did my head in 🤯

I just want to focus on preparing for Mother’s Day and making beautiful arrangements, not jumping through hoops deciphering technical jargon about data security.

So many “what the hell does that mean” moments today 😬🤦🏻‍♀️
