Wishing you a (slightly belated) Happy New Year from all at the Cawdor Tavern!

As in previous years, we will be closing for a short time in January. Last orders at 4pm this Sunday, the 12th January, in order to close at 6pm. We'll then open again at 12noon on Saturday 25th January with the usual opening hours.

Having opened under new ownership just a month ago, we'd like to thank everyone who has visited or supported us in any way during the festive period. An extra special thank you to the incredible Cawdor Tavern team who have taken the change in their stride and continued with their first class service!

Here's to a healthy, happy and exciting 2025 🥂

We are now closed until early January 2025 for all but funeral enquiries.
I am so fortunate to have had a very busy year, and look forward to wedding planning for next year.

Here are the details of our Christmas and New Year opening hours for the next couple of weeks. I think Sheila had too much time on her hands this morning.

Our first wreath of the season is heading out of the workshop to a door in Forres. One of a pair made using dried fruits, nuts, and berries.

Our 2024 wreath workshops are now open for booking. All classes will be in Cawdor Bowling Pavillion and include drinks and seasonal treats. Thursday 28th Nov 7.30 - 9.30pm Saturday 30th. 10.30 - 12.30 2.30 - 4.30 Sunday 1st Dec. 2.30 - 4.30 Sat 7th Dec. . .....fully booked....... Sunday 8th. 2.30 - 4.30 £50 per person, payable upon booking. Non refundable. Limited availability for private groups. Why not make a day of it with lunch next door #Cawdor Tavern.

Late spring blue and white. Delphinium, roses, ammi, stocks, eryngium and nigella.

We will have ready-made Spring Wreaths available from tomorrow. Moss based on double wire frame. With their plants and bulbs, they will develop and shine over the Easter period. £50 each, preorder and collect from the workshop or we can arrange delivery. There are still a few places available if you wish to create your own.

Our Spring wreath workahops will be between 10am and 12 noon and 2pm and 4pm on Saturday the 30th of March. As with Christmas,they will be in the Cawdor bowling pavilion. Numbers will be limited to eight per session. £50.00 per person, including coffee and Easter treats from Harry Gows bakery. Message or call to book.
