Over the last few days, I've had lots of messages about wreath classes.
These will run again this year, but I haven't worked out the finer details yet.
I will aim to post all the relevant dates, costs, etc, at the beginning of September, when the wedding rush is over, and the exciting renovation I am working on is nearer completion

The scent of sweet peas grown locally by my parents fills the workshop tonight.
After birthday celebrations and a very successful buying trip, we are open again. This week having summer mixes of bold colour.
Throw some interiors work, and an exciting site visit into the mix, this afternoon and life is never boring.
I really do have the best job!

Last weekend, we donated flowers for the ladies prize at the clay shoot organised by Cawdor Estate for the Scottish Game keepers Trust.
This weekend, it's off to the Nairn Farmers Society Show, for a collaboration with a difference. Not your usual flowery stand!

A few weeks ago (on the only very hot afternoon we've had), I was asked to help create funeral flowers for St Lawrence Church, with a Dutch family and their friends.
A lovely afternoon tea - *no pressure* until you think that they are the nationality with flowers in their DNA.
Their review finished by saying -

"Everyone was able to feel involved and part of the celebration of Ericas' life.
Thank you for your willingness yo do it & the grace and skill with which you did it."

Grant Park is renowned for its award-winning flowers and hosted a flower show for many years. Now is the time for floral art to take centre stage, with a choice of themes to inspire you ion our Floral Art Competition.
The contest is open gto Adults (over 18) and Youths (17-12)
Entries must be brought to Grant park on August 23 between 4-6pm.
You must register for this competition and registration closes on July 24.

Yesterday, saw a very small, intimate local wedding.
And today, flowers for a private client all created in the glorious sunshine.
A busy week ahead with both flowers and interiors.
I really do have the best job in the most glorious setting.

Congratulations to Alex and Hani. This weekend last year, we were mid heatwave at 28’. Keeping flowers fresh was nigh on impossible! We definitely don’t have that problem this year.

It’s had to believe that it’s a year ago this weekend, that Robert Craigie and Lucy Barclay-Craigie tied the knot. Congratulations on your first wedding anniversary.
