“When we arrived at The Orangery for our first viewing, we were taken aback by the beauty of the big airy rooms. When the sun streams through the windows it is incredible!

The venue is lovely as it is, so it doesn’t necessarily need lots of over the top decorations. It was perfect for what we wanted – something simple but beautiful.”

Authenticity is really important to me...

This photo of Holly is one of my favourites, but it wasn't taken at a wedding. This was a styled shoot for The Orangery (flower arch and venue dressing by (ELYN Boutique UK-Faux Wedding Flowers & Venue Styling )

A styled shoot is usually a collaboration between a few wedding suppliers to get creative or advertise new services (this was for outdoor ceremonies)

Although this isn't a real wedding, the direction, prompting and posing is all me - so a more styled and posed wedding would actually look like this.

I do shoots like this quite often to get creative but I don't attend workshops or styled shoots with paid models that I have no input on. I always want my images to reflect what I can do 🫶

"Our theme was ‘Wildflowers’.
My father grew a lot of the flowers that we used, and we really wanted them to be the focus of the day. We wanted our decoration to look whimsical and colourful with lots of movement. As the grounds at Margam Country Park are so beautiful, we wanted it to feel like we were bringing the outside in."
