One Ancient Grain and one with Modern twist this morning! Our Fresh Organic Bread on the shelf at 0% Waste Shop The Filling Station, Methven - and still very warm!
50/50% White Wheat & Wholemeal Spelt is the Ancient Grain Bread along with Modern Favourite Carrot & Thyme - this one 100% White Wheat....all British Grain and Scottish Carrots grown by our wonderful farmers😊😊

Our Fresh Bread heading to The Filling Station, Methven again this morning and today's choices are White Multi-Seed crammed full of Sunflower, Pumpkin and H**p Seeds plus Golden Linseeds - all high in healthy Omega levels, fibre and minerals.......
or treat yourself to our Walnut & Maple Syrup loaves finished with a sticky Maple glaze...delish!
Both breads great toasted with sweet or savoury toppings and both also freeze well for up to 3 months.

Tuesday's Fresh Bread choices - available from The Filling Station, Methven - are Sundried Tomato & Pine Nut made with British White Wheat Flour along with a touch of British Wholemeal, juicy Sundried Tomatoes, Olive Oil and crunchy Pine Nuts.....or......
something different - White Bread made with Ancient Grain, Einkorn. This oldest member of the Wheat family was grown and used as a staple food across the Mediterranean over 20,000 years ago and has a deep, earthy flavour - give it a try and see what you think.

Our Fresh Bread choices today are a touch of tradition and a touch of spice!
Traditional Wholemeal but baked as a Batch loaf instead of tin shaped and a White Spelt Tin Loaf with Ginger & Chia Seeds for a touch of spice and crunch! Both Breads are great eaten Fresh in chunks, as sandwiches, dunked in soup or toasted plus freeze well for around 3 months.
As usual, available from The Filling Station, Methven, 0% Waste Shop from 10.00 this morning.

Good morning you lovely people :-)
I'm always looking to source natural, local ingredients for our catering and have recently made an exciting discovery - British Grown Linseed (also called Flaxseed) from family run The Linseed Farm - that grows and produces Whole Seeds, Milled Seeds and Linseed Oil. Linseed is a fantastic source of Omega goodness and known also for being a digestive aid.
So guess what's in todays Bread?! First option is White Rye & Linseed (both milled and whole Seeds in this delish loaf) or Sunflower Seed & Honey made with crunchy fat seeds and Organic British Honey.

Today's Tasty Tuesday Treats are fragrant Rosemary & Raisin Loaves and Rolls - made with a White Wheat & Rye flours plus fresh Rosemary from my garden - and something quite different.......Fig, Spelt & Pumpkin Seed Bread - made with a lovely combination of traditional British flours - Wheat & ancient grain Spelt spotted with Dried Figs and plump Pumpkin Seeds for extra vitamins and minerals! Enjoy!

Today's Fresh Bread is Wholemeal Rye & White with a sprinkle of Black Poppy Seeds for a crunchy crust and Sunflower & Honey made with Wholemeal & White flours and Organic Scottish Honey.
Available from 10.00 at The Filling Station, June's 0% Waste Shop in Methven. Can highly recommend many of the refill products in the shop so don't forget to take your own bags and containers to fill up with dry goods and other household essentials.

Good morning - Today's Tuesday Treat is a yummy and very squodgy Foccacia with Black Olive Paste & Sun Dried Tomato topping - the added bonus is it's Tear'n'Share! Also fresh out of the oven is Wholemeal with Chia & Sunflower Seeds - excellent for sandwiches.
All our Fresh Bread & Rolls are hand-made using British grown Wheat or Rye and also milled in the UK too. We sell to individuals as well as retail shops so message me any time if you, or anyone you know, would like to place a one-off or regular order - some of our customers order weekly and some order monthly as all our Bread freezes well.

Our Fresh Bread in the oven this morning is a choice of Raisin & Almond - made with White Wheat flour and a touch of Brown Sugar, plump Raisins and flaked Almonds - or Pumpkin Seed - made with a new flour in my cupboard, White Rye. Lighter than Wholemeal Rye but still with a nutty flavour. Big fat Pumpkin Seeds through the Loaves and Rolls are from June at the Filling Station, Methven where these Breads will be available from 10.00!
