Two Roustons on the same shift! Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing 🤣
Max has already got his eye on our new Katsu curry deli sandwich for his dinner today 🤤 his first thoughts of this sandwich was “it’s a mountain “⛰️ he loves all things wagamamas, Thia, Japanese, Asian ect so this is really up his street, when it comes to a sandwiches. Both of best worlds!

Some really nice lunch’s gone out today. Why not try our loaded salads (this one in particular had pink onions on the side) 🥗 🧅,pork pie with a side salad 🥧 , jacket potato 🥔 or a deli sandwich! 🥪 this makes a really nice weekend lunch and is all freshly made infront of you. Come and give it a try

New staff member alert!🔔
This is max (my little brother) he has started working for us at the cornhill market and this week I am training him on the till and all things pork pies and pastries.🥧
Max has just finished school and his GCSEs, he wants to go on to be a flight attendant 🧑‍✈️ and is going to Newark college in September to start his course. In the meantime he is working along side me to get some customer service experience and more knowledge on day to day work🤩
We love that our small business and that more members of the family are joining us and sharing our passion 🥰🤩

🥒🍎 INTRODUCING Mr pitchforks pickles 🍋🍅 We keep getting asked for chuckney to compliment are pork pies and jams for the scones We listened to- Caramelised Red Onion 🧅 An award-winning chutney made that little bit more special with the addition of red wine vinegar. Delicious with cheese or even add it to your gravy. Piccalilli 🫛 Well what can one say, “so quintessentially English”. A mix of cauliflower, courgettes, green beans in a mustard sauce. You only need a great pork pie a chunk of cheese and some crusty bread to team for the perfect Ploughman’s. Pickle for Pie and Cheese 🥕🍏 A tangy mix of apple, sultanas, onion, tomato, carrot, courgette, dates, mustard and allspice. I think the name gives a clue to the serving suggestions! The perfect ploughman’s pickle. Harvest Chutney with Ale 🍺 This simple but scrumptious mix of vegetables, apple, dates, courgettes, carrot and much more is finished with ale. Delicious on a cheese sandwich, with salads, or even better with a sausage roll. Chilli Jam 🌶️ Sticky-sweet jam smoulders with a gentle heat from crushed red chillies and hot chilli powder and tomato. Incredibly versatile with fish Strawberry & Champagne Conserve 🍾🍓 Nothing can compare to this perfect combination. Perfect with scones! When your work bestie is your auntie too! 🫶🏻I absolutely adore working with my family, it brings us all closer not just as a family but as a small business! ✨🤗 our staff love to get involved with all things social media and aren’t scared to get stuck in (as you can see🤣) we make a good laugh and a joke about it and there’s nothing better when your staff say “do I have to end my shift now”🫣🤣 as it just shows how much they love working for us even if it does mean cleaning fridges, emptying bins and doing all the non glamorous jobs. Are income pays are bills so saving as well can be hard with no funding and help we keep on moving forward and we cant wait for whats next But in reality we just cant keep up this pace ive just took a week off as i was struggling mentally but thats fine and ive learnt is ok to stop some times. Before i felt guilty i had only done 70 hours i can do more its crazyness.
