Couple Spotlight - Mr & Mrs H 🧡

Mid-August and you’d expect glorious sunshine, the weather had a different idea this day! R&A held their blessing inside in front of their family, friends and 2 beautiful children! Tracy from BOHO Ceremonies performed the ceremony which included R, A, O and A creating a wonderful memory with a finger painting. Singer George Simpson sang through the drinks reception and Good Grub served up their amazing food for the wedding breakfast. Thankfully the rain subsided allowing R&A to get some beautiful photos outside! The Revivers Band had everyone up dancing and Porkies Hog Roast kept tummies full!

Couple Spotlight - Mr & Mrs P 🧡

Walked down the aisle by her Dad and Grandad, our smiley bride made her way down the aisle to her waiting husband to be! Potted succulents, floating candles and white runners adorned the tables creating a beautiful vibe inside. There was plenty of seating outside with blankets and cushions with crates to create a table – what an amazing idea! Cater Me Tasty served up their BBQ Sharing platters with the wedding cake as dessert along with a cookie wall and cake platters! Whilst A&A grabbed some shots during golden hour, the guests kept the dance floor full! We can’t not mention the group dancing - what a night!

Couple Spotlight - Mr & Mrs D 🧡

H&R brought to Oaktree Farm and what fun we had! Waiter BBQ service from Buffet & BBQ Nottingham, The Little Pizza Box , Ice Cream Van, Campervan Photobooth from Busography , 9 Hole Event Hire for mini golf, a Glitter Pixie Bar and even their very own festival wristbands! Guests made their way from Church in Bingham and H&R managed to just dodge the rain upon their arrival! Princess Occasions dressed the venue and Richie Muir Music kept the dance floor full! The party was in full swing and we think the men liked their glitter beards, moustaches and eyebrows more than the ladies liked their face designs! We can't not mention the most amazing cake from Genie-us bakes - it fit the vibe perfectly!

Couple Spotlight - Mr & Mrs W 🧡

‘All because two people swiped right!’ What a perfect day C&A’s day was – the weather was just incredible for late September! The venue was dressed in sage green, gold candelabras holding white candles looked stunning next to the white flowers in the bud vases. C&A read their vows in front of their family and friends, where a few tears were shed! Putt a Ring On It it set up their mini golf course and guests then got to order their own pizza from The Alpine Pizza Co , Ice cream from Lulabelles Vintage Ice Cream Van and then a grazing board from the Green Grazer! Light up letters displaying the couples new name lit up the dance floor as Area 51 band sang the night away!

Couple Spotlight - Mr & Mrs H 🧡

A VW campervan brought L&T to Oaktree to their waiting guests and a glass of Aperol Spritz and a bottle of beer was handed to the newlyweds! The warm August sun meant the outdoor space was taken full advantage of! Groups sitting on the grass playing cards, sitting on the hay bales listening to the music from The Song Pilots and even a game of cricket! Such a chilled vibe! The sage green table runners mixed with the cream and green flower tubs and personalised bunting really complemented the venue and pulled the outside in! We can't not mention the cake - wow Cake&Thistle

Can you interact with our Alpaca's?

Oh yes you can! We love a good alpaca selfie! If you take some, why not tag us in? and

The happy couple are more than welcome to get some professional shots in amongst them too - just speak to Nat or Dan on your wedding day and we will take you down there!

On a serious note... the animals here at the farm are gentle creatures but we ask that you do not go into any of their enclosures without the permission of the owners. We care about our animals and their safety, but also yours too.

Couple Spotlight - Mr & Mrs M 🧡

H&J had an intimate church ceremony in the morning and then made their way to us for a blessing in front of more family and friends. The weather was not on our side, but its OK, we held the blessing inside to keep everyone warm and dry! On the tables were Vinyl’s with the couples favourite song titles, floating candles and the most beautiful flower displays by Catkin Flowers Whilst waiting for their food from The Good Grub Company , Ian Smith Magician kept the guests entertained with his magic tricks! The bride & groom had their first dance and the bride then slipped away to get changed in to something she could dance the night away in to Richie Muir Music

Couple Spotlight - Mr & Mrs W 🧡

A first here at Oaktree Farm with a ‘Beat the Barman’ game. R&A asked their guests to order their drinks, flip a coin and depending on which way it fell, the drinks were either on the happy couple or the guest! It created such a great atmosphere and certainly kept us busy – everyone loved it! Black Peppermint Food Company served 3 types of Paella for the day and Bofshogs Hog Roast and The Little Pizza Box fed guests in the evening! Jenni and ice-cream. vintage ice cream bike hire was back but with her bicycle – gorgeous ice cream! The groom built the macaroon cake with his loving hands! A skittle alley and the Countykingsband kept the guests happy and the dance floor full!

Couple Spotlight - Mrs & Mrs M-W 🧡

2 brides, 5 bridesmen, 8 bridesmaids and a whole lot of love! K&L’s infectious personalities shone throughout the day, the drinks were flowing and laughter filled the air. Before the ceremony started the brides did their ‘reveal’ to each other before they each walked down the aisle accompanied by both parents. Black Peppermint Food Company , Horsebox Ice Cream Company and DJ Treaties served the tastiest food (we can’t forget the cheese wheel cake!) and it was then a quick change for one bride and the night was part

Couple Spotlight - Mr & Mrs M 🧡

Well! Who would have thought we would have had a heatwave in September! N&J got married at The Gilstrap, Newark and guests then made their way to Oaktree Farm where they had an intimate ceremony led by N’s Dad. Street food was provided by Gourmazin and guests were entertained by Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Games Hire (we loved the big chess set), they also had sumo suits and bouncy castle from Gedling Bouncy Castle Hire. Purple was definitely the colour running through the day from the groom, groomsmen, bridesmaids, table runners, flowers, blankets and right down to the brides toe nail polish!

Where can’t you! There are lots of different places dotted around the farm that make beautiful photo opportunities… by the Oak tree, in amongst the
willow trees, on the festoon lit walkway, underneath the blessing pergoda oreven by the alpacas. All you’d need to do is explore!

🧡 Couple Spotlight - Mrs & Mrs H

This wedding has been a long time coming having booked in 2019 and pushed back due to COVID! It was definitely worth the wait! E&A had the most wonderful day, surrounded by their nearest and dearest! We felt the warmth from the sun shining but also from E&A’s infectious smiles and laughter all day long! Singer Matty Haynes Music sang throughout the day and DJ Andy Day Sounds Alive Entertainment followed in the evening!

🧡 Couple Spotlight - Mr & Mrs M

E&D got married in their local church and made their way to Oaktree in their Grandad’s old Triumph car, stopping to have a quick photo with the alpacas. Salted Orange provided the food throughout the day and the venue was styled beautifully by Ruby & Co! The garden games and mini golf was enjoyed by the children (and adults), even if rain did stop play every so often! The Footmen Band got the guests on the dancefloor but a surprise rendition of Abba from the bridal party complete with feather boas was the showstopper

Alongside a fully stocked, pay bar at Oaktree Farm, we also offer bespoke drinks packages for your special day. Options include Reception Entry Drinks, Toast Drinks, Table Wine, Token Favours, and Serving Stations.

We can talk about what a typical package can look like but our drinks packages can be tailored to suit your tastes and budget, we are more than happy to create your drinks menu based on this.

Couple Spotlight - Mr & Mrs W 🧡

Who ordered rain in July! L&J’s was the first real wet wedding of the season but it did not dampen the spirits! The rain cleared for the most important parts of the day and the guests were able to enjoy the outdoor space and garden games! Everyone was transported from the Parish Church in Newark in a Route Master bus, whilst the bride and groom arrived in the wedding car that the grooms parents got married in, too! What an arrival! Keeping up the family tradition, Mr & Mrs Colin Caterpillar and many of their children made an appearance! Yum! We had a guest book disguised as Piano keys and succulents for each guest to take home! The Good Grub Company served up their BBQ in the day and chip cones at night and Ant Macandrew and the Lightstream band played through the evening, keeping the dance floor full!

Getting married at Oaktree Farm 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩

We can’t provide a legal ceremony here, with us being an outdoor venue, but we do have a beautiful blessing area on site at Oaktree Farm, where you can walk down the aisle in the outdoors surrounded by nature and your nearest and dearest guests.

We can recommend local churches, registry offices and also a list of Celebrants who can perform your blessing here with us.

Couple Spotlight - Mr & Mrs L 🧡

Swingboats and side stalls, bouncy castle and soft play, photobooth, mini golf and a magician – the guests were certainly kept entertained at K&A’s wedding! Nans Nice Cakes delivered a black wedding cake and it looked absolutely stunning on the stand provided by Rogers Rustic Weddings. This wedding was full of love…… and colour, as the groom wowed everyone with his bright blue Mohican as well as the brides hair matching the bridal party outfits! The magician, Rickie made his way round the room capturing everyone with his magic tricks, leaving guests wondering ‘how!?’ and wanting more!

🧡 Couple Spotlight - Mr & Mrs H

Another first here with Clayzer Pigeon Shooting! Wow – what a great idea! The guests (and us) absolutely loved it, it was great fun and made for some fantastic photos! E&S’s love for the singer, Rihanna, shone through their day, from the table names, first dance and guests waving their napkins to ‘We Found Love’ as E&S were announced in to the stretch tent. Before Black Peppermint served the wedding breakfasts, guests were called up by their table names to run outside to the waiting bride and groom to have a photo with them – the various poses were fantastic and the photo's didn't disappoint! D’Amour guitar duo and The Singles Table kept the music flowing all day!

We hope you had fun celebrating Bonfire Night this weekend! 🎇

We absolutely love fireworks, unfortunately, we are a farm and we are surrounded by beautiful animals and wildlife, therefore, we can’t have fireworks here on your wedding day.

We do however, love sparklers! They are great fun for adults and children (when used safely of course!) and as it gets dark, creates an amazing visual effect and photographs!

Sombrero hats, personalised denim jackets and the conga line led by the bride! What a day A&J had! A beautiful summers day and guests helped themselves to the amazing ice cream from Jenni and ice-cream. vintage ice cream bike hire stand as well as Little Johns Hog Roast and The Peel: Wood Fired Kitchen in the evening. A&J did not stop smiling all day and had lots of fun with the outdoor games from Lane Garden Designs!

🧡 Couple Spotlight - Mr & Mrs H

The biggest light up personalised sign we’ve had, for Mr & Mrs H! We loved it! A summer BBQ menu and pizza’s kept the guests full up and was much needed after the home made garden games, bouncy castle and space hopper races! A music theme ran though this wedding with vinyl’s being the place settings as well as table names – a truly personal touch. Foam glowsticks made their way to the dance floor as DJ Henry kept the tunes going!

Oaktree Farm is a family owned wedding venue nestled on a smallholding in the midlands countryside.

Its central location not far from the A1, is ideal for those who have family and friends travelling the country to come together. Oaktree farm is located 10 miles north of the historic market town of Newark-on-Trent. We are also within a close radius of Tuxford, Retford, Lincoln, Nottingham and Grantham.

​The original farm dates back to the 1700’s and over the years has taken many forms. Originally called Marnham Road Farm, its name of Oaktree Farm was only given to the farm back in 1987 due to the beautiful oak trees growing on the land. Over many years, Oaktree farm has been home to many types of animals, such as shire horses, saddle back pigs, cows, sheep and more. The owners, Dan & Natalie now keep a herd of alpaca's, who you can interact with on your big day.

The wedding venue is located on a more secluded part of the farm so the beautiful scenery is uninterrupted for your day. The stunning stretch structure is hidden away in fields with a private driveway and carparking area, it is yours exclusively for your wedding. Originally designed and thoughtfully created in South Africa, our stretch tent is a great alternative to the traditional wedding marquee.
