Party for 20 yesterday. Salmon, Beef, Coronation Chicken and a selection of seasonal salads 🥗. Followed by two big pavlovas full fo summer fruits 🍓- perfect! And such a beautiful day for it too ☀️

Party? BBQ with fiends?
Pavlovas make an impressive pudding! I can make meringue nests of all shapes and sizes, freshly baked in the AGA ready for you to fill with whipped cream and seasonal fruit 🍓on the day!
I’ve made several of these below for a clients luncheon party over the bank holiday weekend, yum! ☀️

🌷Spring Wreath Kits 🌷
Fancy celebrating spring by making a beautiful natural spring wreath?
I will be doing an Instagram live tutorial, along with Kirsty () towards the end of March - date TBC. The tutorial is open to all and will be available to watch afterwards at your convenience on my IGTV.
So what’s in the kit?.....
A gorgeous vine wreath ring, fluffy bunny tails, barley ears, guinea and pheasant feathers, faux speckled eggs, linchen covered twigs, wire, natural raffia and fresh moss.
You can of course add whatever else you fancy foraging and spring flowers if you wish.

*Please note you will require a glue gun to make your wreath*

Brownie Jenga! Triple choc chip brownies being made in the Home Farm kitchen today! They’re delicious abs gooey and the perfect accompaniment to a cuppa on a cold January day!

All the onions used in my quiches, sausage rolls and freezer meal are grown right here on the Thoresby estate! They are harvested in the autumn and stored on site in giant temperature controlled stores with huge fans than blow hot air through them to keep them in optimum condition for the supermarket shelves that they’re destined for 🧅!

We saw the New Year in with Beef Wellington made using only the best locally reared beef from Gonalston Farm Shop and pavlova with lashings of fresh cream 🍓.

The ladies are embracing lock down life. They’re all living indoors to stay safe through the Avian Flu outbreak, but are really quite cosy in the old stables. To keep them happy they have pecking blocks, dust bowls and branches to try and imitate their usual free range lifestyle ❤️

The Home Farm Larder is based on a working farm and the animals are at the heart ♥️. All the eggs I use in my cooking are freshly laid by my own happy hens, a funny rabble of girls - some ex-battery, the true workers and their fancier lazier companions, the Legbar, Light Sussex, Welsummers, Black Rocks and brahmas 🐓
I believe that good honest food, starts with good honest ingredients. And food is not only made with love, but with passion from the very start of production to the very end ♥️.

It’s been a busy Christmas period at The Home Farm Larder creating an abundance of festive wreaths and arrangements. Thank you to all of you that ordered from me this year and I hope they’ve helped make your Christmas extra special ❤️.
All my wreaths are moss based and are made using natural foraged greenery and berries from the surrounding estate. Natural sustainable decoration at its best!
