Claypole Village Hall is an early 20th century 'arts and crafts' style building with beautiful period features, making it a great venue for wedding receptions, parties, fairs, events, as well as being a fantastic community space. It was gifted to the village by benefacto

r Harry Coulby, a Claypole-born man who made his fortune in shipping in the USA but never forgot his roots in the Lincolnshire village. As well as the impressive main hall (which features a stage & servery/bar area), there are beautiful gardens, a large grassed area (suitable for a marquee), ample parking and a children's play area. We are also lucky to have The Side House Coffee Shop in the adjoining former caretaker's cottage - well worth a visit for breakfast, lunch or coffee & cake. The Hall is a charitable trust and run by a management committee, rather than by the local Parish Council. 🤪We’re excited to be a Community Champion with Lincolnshire Co-op for the next 6 months.
From Sunday 7th September 2025 to Saturday 7th March 2026, every time a Co-op member shops with their dividend card in the Long Bennington store, a donation is made to their local Community Champion.
🙋‍♀️🙋What can you do to help? Register for a Co-op membership card and use your Co-op card every time you shop in store.
Funds at the end of the 6 months range from £500-£1000 which will be put to great use at the Hall.
