Heart meditation, resting awareness in the spiritual heart centre brings steadiness, a quietening of the mind and a deep connection to all that is…

In this montlhy class we explore and create the inner environment to enter meditation, including pranayamic breathing and heart centering practice to arrive and be present.

Each class then concludes with a meditation practice to deepen your heart centre connection and bring into this into your daily life.
Classes are small and welcoming to both beginners and experienced meditators who enjoy the group meditation experience.

This weekend I was very privileged to be part of the extraordinary team of people who created The Raven's Ball.
We all helped turn the dreams of Zoe Barnes the Ball's creator into reality.
My brief was to create a magical winter cocktail bar and sweet stall, I threw in Beira's ice staff and a wand tree into the mix too.
I will post more photos of this incredible and mind blowing evening as they come in, here are just a few to get you started!
I would also like to thank my amazing team who pitched in for free and helped raise funds for the Ball's charity Autistica, you worked so hard and helped create the magic 🙏🐦‍⬛♥️
Thank you Bozena, Vanessa and David and last but not least my beloved who has helped and supported me through the months of preparations, driven miles, let me turn half of his office into a workshop and let me dress him up as a viking ( he liked that bit! 😀)

Thank you also so so much to Lindores Abbey Distillery for you most generous gift for our silent auction and the Aqua Vitae cocktail was a complete hit I will post a video!!
Thank you also to Tayport Distillery for the wonderful pine gin that went into our Raven's Cup, again I will post a video and to Lou from Underneath the Arches who lent us the Raven's cousin Mr Crow who kept an eye over the bar from his lofty perch.

On a final note this years Ball was dedicated my very dear friend Christie Smith who was considered the Grand Dame of the Raven's Ball, we miss her every day and she was never far from our thoughts♥️

Happy New Year to all my lovely customers and followers!
I saw my New Year in with some of my dear friends sharing laughter, love and food.
I created a raised pie using some amazing local produce including Venison from Falkland, layered with local partridge breast from Woodmill Game. chicken and pistachio mousse and delicious sausage meat from Cheyne's Quality Foods butchers encased in an all butter hot water crust pastry.
The magic ingredient was love of course and I used a beautiful hawthorn spoon to combine my pastry ingredients that was hand whittled for me by a lovely Wonderland guest from a branch from one of my trees and a very old and well used pastry dolly that I purchased from Underneath the Arches I could feel its history seeping into my special pie.
As always it was a pleasure cooking but a true joy to share food with friends old and new.

Our dessert table from yesterday's buffet lunch.
Homemade lemon curd meringue roulade.
Pears poached in port and star anise.
Chase's legendary cashew & cardamon brownies served with chia latte toffee sauce and whipped vanilla cream.

Chase's Brownie business is up and running now (proud mum!❤️)
They are the best brownies ever!!

To those of you that don't know us so well we have been crafting unique dining experiences for over 16 years. Hatters Catering takes pride in curating memorable events through our creative approach and locally sourced ingredients. I have a passion for cooking along with a background in interior design and event styling, the perfect alchemy for creating magical dining experiences.
