Before Christmas wreath workshops commence in mid November we have a final Autumn floral workshop on Thursday 24th October at Chieveley Village Hall from 1-3pm. All materials provided including the pumpkin for you to carve before arranging your autumn flowers and foliage. Message me for further information.

Summer Flowers Workshop

Thursday 6th June Arlington Arts Centre 1-3pm

Come and join Kim our floristry tutor for an afternoon floral workshop.
Suitable for beginners onwards.
Early summer is a lovely time for flower arrangers with a wide choice of imported and British flowers.
You will be creating one of the floral classics a triangular design working with oasis or floral mesh your choice. The afternoon will begin with an introduction by Kim on tips to create your design.
All materials will be provided.

Week 2 Introduction to Floristry last night.
The students worked with chicken wire/florist mesh to create oasis free arrangements for their homes. We finished as a group improving our wiring skills. Week 3 will be hand-tied.

I will be teaching the summer flower course at Falkland Cricket Club on Friday afternoons starting 7th June

Summer Flowers 7th June 2024

Early summer is a lovely time for flower arrangers with a wide choice of British & imported flowers available.
This course is suitable for those with some flower arranging knowledge or who have attended the Introduction to Floristry course.
Over the duration of the course, you will be creating a stunning pedestal design, a long and low design, a topiary arrangement and gift boxes. You will learn lots of useful tips and techniques to help you on your floristry journey.

A lovely evening last night. Spring flower workshop for Creative Communities (South East). Here are a few pics of some glorious designs. Everyone had the same flowers to work with but a choice of container and could work with oasis or chicken wire.
