For the first time ever on Saturday 8th June the UK floral industry has its very own special day National Florist Day.
Now as far as we are concerned here at Willow & Blooms every floral day is a special day but it is pretty amazing to know that 100's and 100's of other florists across the UK will be marking this day on their calendars annually and celebrating their skills, talents and knowledge.
We are very proud to be florists here Newbury and it never ceases to amaze us how truly wonderful flowers are. x

We will be closed on Monday 27th May for the bank holiday but open today and tomorrow as usual.

If you are thinking of gifting this weekend we have some lovely ideas in store everything from newly made dried bunches (£20), Summery planted baskets (from £28), really cool white agapanthus plants in baskets (£28), a whole host of houseplants (from £13.00) and of course a spectacular range of fresh flowers as you would expect from us.

Looking back to a beautiful sunny Saturday in early May this year when the lovely M & R married at the splendid . We had the pleasure of making not only the prettiest bouquets but this gorgeous archway decoration too. Thank you to you both and huge congratulations x

Easter Shop Hours:
We are open today, Good Friday and Saturday but will be closed on Sunday and Monday.
We have a fabulous array of planted pots and baskets for gifting this weekend, some cute Easter decorations for the home and of course lots of beautiful fresh flowers.

What a weekend! Thank you to everyone who ordered flowers from us for Mothers Day, you kept us very busy indeed!
It’s been a while since we had customers queuing outside the shop on a Saturday, it was wonderful to see so many people calling in, thank you!

What a lovely way for us to start the week making and delivering this bespoke and gorgeous vase of flowers.

Because sometimes it's just best to give us a call and then leave it to an expert florist to choose a stylish vase and arrange a selection of flowers that appeal to their eye on the day resulting in a colour palette that is not easy to describe but looks amazing. What do you think?

We hope everyone has had a good start to the new year. We have had a good spring clean in the shop after our busy Christmas and are glitter free until at least the end of October! A new window display is installed with an optimistic Spring vibe and we have lots of little bulb planters for sale. We love a little bulb planter they make wonderful gifts are extremely pretty and full of new life for the season x

Hi everyone we hope you've had a lovely Christmas.
December for us was a blur of workshops, wreath making, festive decorating and flowers so a huge thank you to everyone who ordered from us, not just for Christmas but the whole of the 11 years we have been in business here at our little flower shop in Newbury.
We are open today and tomorrow and have fresh flowers in for anyone needing a top up post Christmas, we then have a few days off again and re-open on Wednesday 3rd January 2024. Yes 2024 already where did the time go!

We had the greatest pleasure of taking part in Newbury Living Advent Calendar on 1st December. Our Christmas window reveal this year was our interpretation of Belle from Beauty and the Beast taking inspiration from this years pantomime . Belle will be in the window until the end of December and we hope you will stop and take a look as you walk down Bartholomew Street during the festive season x

We have just about managed to squeeze all of our beautiful decorations, candles and glassware into the shop and our old antique dresser is looking very festive again this year. There are so many lovely pieces from Wikholm Form and Grand Illusions and we are very pleased to be stocking them, do come in and have a browse if you are passing.
This week we are starting with a couple of wreath workshops at and the and on Friday 1st December we will be launching Newbury Living Advent Calendar , we have a fab prize to give away this year so make sure you are with us at 6pm prompt on the night to be in with a chance to win.

Well Christmas is well and truly on its way now and our first wreath making workshop for 2023 is on Monday 27th November at The Crown & Garter, Inkpen there are a few spaces still available so please contact Alana on 01488 -668325 who will be very happy to book you in at Crown & Garter

There is also some availability for Tuesday 28th November at Bagnor. We have an afternoon and an evening session here at this fabulous theatre and booking is made on their website www.watermill.org.uk

Monday 4th December and 5th December will find us at The Mulberry Bush in Henwick, very kindly hosted by the lovely Cate in her wonderful craft shop. Limited spaces available now for these 2 evening sessions but a quick call to Cate on 01635 860900 will get you booked in.

Finally there are still a few spaces left for our last workshop on Thursday 7th December at City Arts - Newbury, Hampton Road, Newbury. Give us a call on 01635 528900 to book for this. Please note that this is a prompt 6pm start.

WREATH MAKING WORKSHOPS 2023

Join us and get in the mood for the festive season by taking a few hours off to make your own door wreath for Christmas. As usual we will provide all you need to make a beautiful display of seasonal foliages, dried fruits and natural decorations and of course we will be there to demonstrate, help and advise as you go.
