In SPRING, dawns mark the beginning of days that will outlast the nights.

Such a refreshing time of year, you can visually see the nature literally springing into life, with new growth and buds shooting all around us. I for one, absolutely adore springtime and what better way to celebrate this beautiful season, than a vibrant spring wreath for your door. If you would like to place an order, then please call or DM me.

Well, what a December it has been! I appreciate I haven’t posted for a while, but I have been immersed in all things floral and Christmasy. I had the huge pleasure of installing and styling 20 Christmas trees for clients, teaching over 100 people how to make Christmas wreaths and creating an alpine forest installation, complete with grizzly bear. Not to mention 2 weddings, a funeral, all the private orders and a partridge in a pear tree! It’s safe to say that’s the busiest I’ve been and enjoyed every moment. Thank you to all my clients and customers for trusting and working with me, not just this month but over the whole year. Plus of course a thank you to my trusted freelancer Cally and the endless support from husband Al and my dear friends. When I reflect on this time 2 years ago, I was recovering from a major operation, I feel very fortunate and very thankful. I’m now having a much needed break in Cornwall, ready for another great year in 2020!
A fun filled weekend getting Uber creative for the launch of Forest Edge Tipis. A fabulous wedding festival; showcasing this amazing venue and their preferred suppliers. Back up there again today, from 11:00 until 15:00, so pop along and see us at Hampstead Marshall, RG20 0JH.
July saw the beautiful wedding of Katarina and Marcus in a stunning barn over in picturesque Marlborough. Subtle pastel tones were the order of the day, congratulations to your both....a wedding to remember.
Like many of us, Monday mornings are spent looking through a rather full inbox....but in amongst those emails what a pleasure it was to read this lovely message from the newly married Mr and Mrs Smith who got married in May with a beautiful reception at the Vineyard:
"We want to say a huge thank you for our stunning wedding flowers. I was completely overwhelmed when you delivered our bouquets but walking into The Vineyard took my breath away, the signpost, the lanterns, the centrepieces, THAT toptable display, the cake….They were all absolutely beautiful, we knew they would be amazing but we were completely blown away. Thank you for all your hard work to really understand our ideas and theme for the wedding, you captured this perfectly. We had so many comments on how beautiful the flowers were. Thank you so much Mr and Mrs Smith"
It was a stunning wedding filled with an abundance of pink blooms, thank you Katie and Wayne for those kind words.
Just a few weeks ago I had the wonderful creative pleasure of being part of Steph and Dan's "Alice in Wonderland" inspired wedding at Silchester House. What a dream, I thank you both for trusting me "....your entirely bonkers...." Florist with boxes of moss, bottles, tea cups, hanging flowers and not forgetting the rabbits - creative heaven for me and Megan my trusty assistant for the day. In the words of Lewis Carroll: "...Actually the best gift you could have given her was a lifetime of adventures..." Steph and Dan, may your married life be full of adventures.
