Just sat waiting for Liam's school bus to arrive and inspired by a Restorative Yoga session I attended this afternnon with Sarah’s Star at Jasmine Yoga in Tynemouth I thought I would share!
I am lucky to be self employed and have the flexibility to be able to 'disappear' for a couple of hours to do something like this. I love my job and for me (and my family) it's about work/life balance. Have I got it right? Mmmm depends who you ask. Stopping my tea to answer messages about funeral flowers, maybe not but being able to take time out for myself, then yes. It's definitely not a 9-5 job but that's not a bad thing!
I worked very hard to be where I am now, both professionally and personally and I think that I am in a place now where I am truly happy. I thoroughly enjoy working with flowers and creating floral designs that mean something to people and bring them joy aswell as, being able to show others how to create something they are proud of.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me and my small business, everyone single one of you, whether it's ordering a bouquet, attending one of my workshops, allowing me the privilege to create your families final tributes or helping you decorate your special day. I am truly grateful!
