Spotty Dog is a party for the heads, a space pushing many variants of underground electronic dance music, but pays great respect to the heritage of dance music culture. Come the 28th February local selectors JYE and LEO ROBIN will be touching down .ouseburn to deliver a night of pumping house and wiggy electro beats! This party will also be hosting the after party. Catch them at the before!!

Jacklyn is a techno DJ and Producer based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK. With DJ Mag including her in their artist spotlights, Resident Advisor picking her Hör set as mix of the day and with a powerful RAW podcast under her belt, JACKLYN leaves no doubt why she is a selector to look out for. In her contribution to the mix series, the Newcastle-based DJ and producer blends her timeless self productions and percussive tracks with more minimalistic European Techno styles and spheric soundscapes. The result is just as classy as it is danceable.

We can’t speak highly enough of Jacklyn and the energy Jacklyn brings to her music and artistic vision. Thanks so much .cklyn and .ouseburn x

Madness from royalty and : huge thanks for having us down!

Hypershé is part of the infamous Hardcore Energy family and manager of the Hardcore & Jungle label, Hypershé FKA Sherry S, known for her high-energy bass driven sets. Described by Red Bull as “rowdy and razor-sharp behind the decks” she’s graced the main stage at Boomtown, been a regular on the festival and club circuit, held down a residency at the legendary club Fabric, had a monthly Friday night show on SWU fm, and released her own music alongside running DJ Mag’s hotly tipped “Ones To Watch” label Cocobolo Sound. In a post-lockdown world the Hardcore Energy label manager wanted to refine her sounds, and the product of which is the dynamic & lively, chaotic bliss that is Hypershé: a turbo-charged blend of Hardcore, 160, Jungle & Techno. With a string of successful shows already under her belt, & residency on SWU, Hypershé continues to create something special.

Northern raised, London based CICELY started her DJ journey in 2021 and has since played across the country in venues such as Fabric, XOYO and Corsica, and at festivals such as Boomtown, Project 6 and Reading. She holds a monthly residency on Subtle Radio and has featured on platforms such as Rinse FM, Keep Hush and BOG. Her sets are known for a high NRG mixture of breaks, techno and hardcore. Cicely launched NRG CRU in 2022, and has successfully thrown parties across London, Sheffield and Newcastle.

Highlander is a multi-genre, versatile DJ with an extra special love for high tempo, high adrenaline Jungle & Hardcore. His label Racked Records pushes out Jungle/DnB from all across the spectrum.

Maria is a London based dj new to the scene but grew up immersed in the sounds of jungle. Her sets deliver a journey through deep basslines blending both jungle and dnb on the decks.

is a local hero who runs method radio here in Newcastle. Established in 2020 during the first lockdown, Method Radio is the only dedicated underground dance and hip-hop station in the North East of England promoting all styles of underground electronic music.
