Order of competitions is Classical Sequence - Modern Sequence - Tyne and Wear Prince and Princess - Ballroom - Latin & SOLO 3 DANCE

Adults and Amateur will be mixed in from 12.30pm

CAFE AVAILABLE UPSTAIRS IN VENUE WITH HOTDOGS, SNACKS DRINKS ETC

We're so excited to welcome everyone on Sunday for what promises to be a great day of competitions

All payment must be paid for entries TODAY
Wednesday 21st July. Any payment not received today will result in the competitors entries being removed from the competition.

As with all competitions running in these times NO refunds will be given for Self Isolation.

In order to keep everyone safe, we have decided that we will continue to follow the following guidelines.

Everyone's safety is of the up most importance and we have no margin for error. Please see below important information for clarity.

1) EVERYONE must have a negative lateral flow result. We would advise you take this on Sunday morning before travelling to the competition. We have no facility to test on site.

2) Please DO NOT attend if you are showing symptoms or have a positive Covid 19 result.

3) Face coverings MUST be worn at all times when not seated.
Whilst competitors are Dancing and our Adjudicators are exempt from wearing face coverings.

4) Seats must not be moved.

5) Warm up and practice is strictly controlled and will be done by numbers. Please listen to the MC. No Practice allowed outside these times.

6) Unless waiting to dance please do not stand in the sterile area between spectators and the floor.

7) Cheering and shouting is not allowed. Loud clapping is encouraged to create a fabulous atmosphere.

8) Please do not socialise outside of your seats.

9) Please follow the instructions of the MC at all times.

10) Please also do not leave any belongings in the toilets.

11) Please ensure where possible you are in the main room, congregating in public areas will result in removal or halting of the event.

The venue are providing a refreshments stall within the main hall as well.

NE Dancewear will also be there for all your dance needs.

Our raffle will run as normal, Tickets will be available on the day from a designated area.

Please share these rules with all members attending. Failure to comply with measures in place may result in cancellation of the event and you being asked to leave.

As we Dance out of Lockdown we want to encourage all dancers to build as much self confidence as they possibly can, this is done through taking part in competitions like our Dance out of Lockdown 2021, Sunday 25th July Wallsend Memorial Hall, Frank Street, NE28 6RN
With this in mind we would like to announce that SOLO dancers can enter the age group above as well as there own age group.
Unfortunately due to BDC rules u12s can't dance up to u14s also u16 can't dance up to o16. For this we apologise.

COUPLES HAVE AN OPEN SECTION IN EACH GENRE THAT IS WHY THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.

Entries are open and going really well so don't delay. Obviously we will still have to make allowances for guidelines so we need to know ASAP how many people are planning on attending this LIVE COMPETITION

Dance out of Lockdown 2021 has changed its date to Sunday 25th July instead of 18th July. This hopefully will allow us to enjoy a fabulous day of competitions keeping to the Covid guidelines set.
This competition is open to all UK dancers who would like to enter.
