Hi everyone!
So the dust has settled on what was a fantastic weekend, and I am delighted to announce that because of your amazing support of the Dapper Social Weekender event, we raised £5,810 to go to the DGR charities, a magnificent effort, smashing last years total! 😀
I just wanted to say a big thankyou to everyone that helped make this such a wonderful event, Triumph Newcastle for their headline sponsorship and unstinting support, Master Debonair , The Beresford Arms - Whalton and the The Holly Bush Inn for the generosity towards the Raffle and Auction.
The Triumph Owners Motorcycle Club NE (TOMCC) for their sponsorship and also providing the weekend staffing for tickets sales, raffle and parking.
The food vendors, Gourmet Burger and Fire and Dough, and the trade stands, GC Customs, Osbidian Ink and Rebellion Barber Studio. The Lou Ross Band who kept us brilliantly entertained, Tyne Bank Brewery for being such amazing hosts and finally to all of you for supporting this mad cap idea!

A special mention too for all of you that bought weekender tickets and came along to the Friday evening 'Dapper Do' as well as the Sunday and kicked the whole thing off.

So once again my thanks and now we know what we need to beat next year!😁

Hi everyone, I have just got back from Triumph Newcastle where we have just carried out the Dapper Social Raffle draw, congratulations to all the winners! and a huge thank you to all that bought a ticket but did not win this time around, good luck to you for next year!
Huge thanks to Triumph and also Master Debonair and The Beresford Arms - Whalton for their kindness and generosity in donating these fabulous prizes. To all the winners congratulations once again.

The Dapper Social is ready to welcome all those riding this years Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride at Tyne Bank Brewery on Sunday 19th. The weather is looking good for a chilled afternoon and enjoying the laid back vibe whilst enjoying great street food, live music and fabulous traders.
Check out the event plan below, for all riders please look to the stewards for parking directions and importantly the parking layouts as there is limited parking space.

All the stewards are volunteers so please be kind to them!

Entry to the brewery is via a Dapper Social badge, which are for sale for £5, to avoid having to queue at the Brewery these will be on sale at Triumph Newcastle prior the DGR leaving.

NO, you don't have to sign up to the DGR as well, you don't even need to own a bike!

I am looking to do a very limited run of 2024 Dapper Social T-shirts and hoodies, before going ahead I just wanted to put it out there and gauge potential interest. Cost will be circa:

with around £4/£5 per item going to the DGR Charities.

Hot off the press!
I have just received confirmation from Triumph Newcastle that they will again be supporting next years Dapper Social Event, so that coupled with The Triumph Owners Club NE (TOMCC) support and Tyne Bank Brewery confirming they are happy to host again means that all systems are go for next year!

We are also slightly tweaking the weekend with the evening 'Dapper Do' now going ahead on the Friday night May 17th, giving people a full day to recover before the DGR ride and Dapper Social on the Sunday

So hold the dates, Friday May 17th & Sunday May 19th, remember you don't have to be a DGR rider to enjoy this, the Friday 'Dapper Do' is a party in a brewery after all!
