We are helping to organise and promote Someone's Gig which will take place at The Exchange 1856 on 23rd September. The event consists of some amazing music, comedy, and an auction/raffle to raise money towards the release of a very important film.
Someone's Daughter, Someone's Son is a very powerful documentary film made by award winning director Lorna Tucker, which looks at the growing, and often hidden problem of homelessness in the UK, and ways to help end it.
It features one of Lindisfarne Festival's own, Earl John Charlton from North Shields. One of the most inspirational people we have ever met.
This is film has been put together on a shoe string with help from a lot of people. Colin Firth has narrated it, and Bryan Adams has written and recorded the sound track, plus a lot of other help from elsewhere.
This film needs a big community release, and the only way this can be achieved is through raising funds. This is an important film, and we need to get it out there.
If you are available on 23rd September, please buy a ticket and come along for a great night of entertainment. If you want to make any other donation, cash or raffle prizes then please drop us a message.
Tickets are only £10 and are available now from; https://event.wescantickets.com/gr_uTwrTkhghS
