“I’M IN THE LIBRARY!” - Dom Joly is going on tour with a brand new stand-up show, and on the 14th March 2024 he’ll be visiting The Customs House. If you’d like to put your name down for a ticket, please get in touch with Rob Reed and he’ll organise.

There were lots of changes at our AGM last night.
We saw our President, Mick Redfearn step down after two years in the role and countless more as a council member.
Also stepping down was Social Secretary Alan Hooper and Welfare Officer Simon Jacobs.
The Newcastle Magic Circle wouldn’t be the vibrant club it is today without their hard work and dedication. Our thanks go out to you all.

James Piatt was elected as the new President alongside Martin Duffy who takes over the Secretary role.

WIth the unveiling of our exciting 2024 programme the year ahead looks to be another great one for the Newcastle Magic Circle!

This year Hip Operation got your "hairy feet" dancing. They certainly raised the bar, while the other guests were visiting the bar. Really pleased to see the dance floor full all night 😍

I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who attended this year's Newcastle Magic Circle Presidents Dinner. This year we transported you to "Club Rougefearn", a night full of entertainment.
Huge thank you to Stephen Hawksby for bringing Maximus Rougefearn to life as our video compere. Hip Operation, the fantastic live band at the end of the night. Romany - Romany, the Diva of Magic our main Magic act. Mint Management Entertainment and Events Agency for The Cathouse Belles dancers who opened both halves of the night. BrightStar - Theatre, Events, Weddings for the amazing lighting, sound and tech operations throughout the evening. Robert Reed Magician, for hosting the auction and adding big laughs with his comedy. Grand Hotel Gosforth Park Newcastle for its outstanding hospitality. Kevin Creaghan for capturing the memories of the event. Daniel Dorian Johnson for his street entertainment. Tom Bolton, Ken Thornton and Paul Cato for their tabletop magic.
All this wouldn't have been possible without the hardworking NMC council who pulled together and created the night.
We will be sharing the photographs taken over the next week and hopefully, you will spot friends and see why this year had a great buzzing atmosphere.
Thank you once again to everyone who attended.

Last night we held a special meeting at Newcastle Magic Circle. After a lot of planning and help from our members we celebrated the rich history of or and his journey in Magic.
We managed to keep it a surprise until the night even though there were a few moments where loose lips nearly spilled it.
Thank you so much to all the guests that took part and submitted videos and a huge thank you to for compiling the evening.

Technically all magic is about tricking the eyes, but Matt has a very clever way of doing this.
