We express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended the 3rd North East Bangladeshi Awards (NEBA). We trust that you had an amazing time at NEBA 2024! Congratulations to all the category winners. We extend our appreciation to all the award recipients for their outstanding contributions to fostering community cohesion, improving service provision, promoting equality, and challenging inequalities. Each year, NEBA aims to recognize individuals whose remarkable work, whether in paid or voluntary capacities, often goes unnoticed.

NEBA 2024 was a resounding success, with 400 guests in attendance. We acknowledge that there are areas for improvement and valuable lessons to be learned from NEBA2024, which we will apply to enhance our event come NEBA2025 as we continue to expand. We value and welcome all feedback, whether positive or constructive. Please feel free to share your comments with us.

Renowned singer Pankaj Udhas, celebrated for timeless classics like 'Chitthi aayi hai', passed away today following an extended illness, as confirmed by his family. He was 72. "With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Padma Shri Pankaj Udhas on 26 February due to a prolonged illness," stated the Udhas family.

A notable playback artist in Hindi cinema with hits in movies such as "Naam," "Saajan," and "Mohra," Udhas breathed his last around 11 am at Breach Candy Hospital, according to a family source cited by news agency PTI. His repertoire includes enduring ghazals like 'Chandani Raat Mein', 'Na Kajre Ki Dhaar', 'Aur Ahista Kijiye Baatein', 'Ek Taraf Uska Ghar', and 'Thodi Thodi Piya Karo'.

Udhas enthralled audiences worldwide with his performances at numerous concerts and boasted an extensive discography of albums.
