We’re throwing a Summer party combining the efforts of Ape-X and Me Me Me to try and help raise donations for the Newcastle East and Newcastle West Foodbanks. The event will take place at Cobalt Studios, with all proceeds going towards the Newcastle food bank, to help it maintain its vital work fighting the ravaging effects of austerity on local individuals and families. Dance music at its best has always been a force for positive change. We invite you to join us in dancing for a good cause. Operated by the Trussel Trust, the Newcastle food banks offer emergency support for the people in the city who can be counted amongst the 14 million people in the UK living in poverty.
All we ask if you want attend the rave is that you buy £5 ticket in Advance to guarantee your entry and bring a food donation (or several from the allotted list).
The current shortage list is; UHT milk, jam, juice, hygiene products such as deodorant, shampoo etc, nappies, dried rice and past or anything non perishable.
(Please note all of our events at Cobalt have been complete sell outs, so advance tickets are advised)
