time and here's a pic from SunnyCon 4. Organisation side this was possibly our most difficult event as everything that could go wrong went wrong. However, there was a real community spirit and lots of dancing and somehow we got through it and the next year we moved to St James, and the rest as they say is history.

Workshop announcement.

SunnyCon 2025 will have workshops on Crochet for weebs with 2 workshops over the weekend. One for beginners and one for advanced weebs. Workshops are hands-on panels and places will be limited. Booking places will go live near the event day but if all spots go you are still welcome to attend the panel.

⛴️WE MISS OUR BOAT PARTIES😭😭
Really we miss them so much. This week's is a pic from one of our first boat parties which started as stand-alone events and eventually became incorporated into SunnyCon weekend. The pandemic put pay to that and now no one charters ferries/boats/ floating platforms for us to bring them back (Trust us we check every few months) at least on the Tyne. If something pops up though we'll bring them back asap because you haven't lived until you experience getting drunk surrounded by cosplayers on the high seas (or river).
