Our artisan chocolate studio is a haven of chocolate delight. We concoct and create over 40 varieties of handcrafted chocolates, and the waft of chocolate hits you as soon as you step inside.
We make it our mission to cherish traditional chocolate recipes and techniques, as well as creating brand new flavours. So you will still find a parma violet, coffee cream and a rum & Raisin fudge being made here. But we like to weave our own creativity and passion into each recipe, so our coffee creams are made with Costa Rican beans with a hint of red fruits, freshly filtered through an aeropress.
Our latest chocolates include a range commissioned for the Great Exhibition of the North, being celebrated in Newcastlee and Gateshead during summer 2018. We’ve created flavours that epitomise the region: Brown Ale, Singing Hinny and Earl Grey Tea Truffles. And we find that not many people outside the region even realise that Earl Grey Tea is named after the 2nd Earl of Northumberland...
You can find our chocolates in many fine food or gift shops around the region, and a few further afield. Fenwicks Newcastle are one of our flagships stockists, but you can also find us at The Baltic Gift Shop, Mmm Glug, Woodhorn Museum, Gateshead Library Gift Shop, Corbridge Larder, Beamish Museum, The Castle Keep, Rehills of Jesmond, Howick Hall, Skrumshus of Corbridge, The Small World Cafe (Hexham) amongst others.
