On behalf of NMDDC, Resolve Planning invite your comments on the proposed upgrade of the existing 2G sports pitch at Donard Park, Newcastle to a new 3G synthetic pitch.

The proposal includes provision of covered seating areas, sheltered dug outs, perimeter and ball stop fencing, replacement floodlighting, new pitch drainage system and realigned and raised path from existing pavilion to the pitch.

The hugely anticipated multi sport tournament

Each school will compete for their local trophy & there will be a finals day with the winners from each area will compete against the best in the area and lift the trophy!

We are very excited to introduce our primary school multi sports tournament for 2024!

This is something we have wanted to do for a long time, to offer kids an opportunity to play competitive matches in multiple sports!

If you would like to sign up for the tournament it will consist of tournament days with local schools in your area!

The winning team in each local area will then have to opportunity to compete in the finals day!

Please contact asap if you need anymore info, competing schools will be provided with all the information for taking part when they sign up!

With the new term now kicking off… it is more important than ever to offer out kids as much sporting opportunities as possible in school!

The cuts this school year can only mean less participation in sport, when it is most needed!

We promise to provide as much opportunity as possible for all schools & all abilities to get a chance to take part in our school PE & after school clubs!

Please don’t hesitate to contact us and give the kids the sporting chance they deserve coming in to a ‘different look’ school year!

We have very competitive PE sessions & after school clubs, where not only will we deliver a great sports session, but also it will send the kids & teachers away with ideas to continue a fun & exciting sports programme even when we aren’t there!

We can’t wait to return to our regular schools and continue to enjoy fresh and exciting games & activities, but we also urge schools who haven’t seen us in a while to get back on board for the sake of the kids!!!

Todays venue for our final day!

Our fate has been decided and fortunately we can still go ahead with the camp but on a slightly different format!

10am-1pm Lego camp in the Newcastle Baptist Church Hall!

The church is located right next door to the anchor bar.

Crazy hair day & water fight will go ahead as normal so get styled up & bring your (empty) water guns!
