This is a sad post.

If you work in this industry you will know how hard it is at the moment. Energy prices (especially for commercial) have gone up. Staffing costs have already risen since we opened and they are set to rise sharply again in April. Food costs have rocketed- we see that in our homes- it’s the same here. Every day is a battle to balance the books but we are still here (and we appreciate all your support so much) and we continue to pray about how we can be a blessing to the people in our community.

We will be doing everything we can to keep our doors open to be here for you.

What are we doing?

We have teamed up with Pizza Yoli Newent to make a partnership with another small local business to benefit us both - please consider visiting us for pizza or even meet a friend for an evening cuppa or opting to try us for a takeaway one night. 🍕 ☕️ Thurs-Sat 4-9pm

We have been operating a pay it forward system for a while and it’s well used. Paid for at the till by our very kind customers, you can come when you need it to pick up a meal or a hot drink. The board is located on the wall on the right next to the patio door. Thank you to all who contribute to this board. It makes a huge difference to those who make use of it and a huge difference to us whilst our budget to gift is much lower than it has previously been. ❤️

We are running more pop up events- Art, crafts and other workshops for both adults and children.

We will be looking closely at our menus to see where we may be losing money on increased ingredient costs and comparing amongst suppliers and sadly we be forced to increase some pricing which we have been trying to keep down for our customers.
