The Tattersalls February Sale concluded with significant year-on-year increases in turnover, median and average. The median of 11,000gns was a record for the February Sale, the average the second highest in the sale’s history and customarily strong international demand produced a clearance rate above 85%.

🇪🇸 The Spanish Derby is the aim for Wanderlust, bought by by Stamina Turf's Rafael Rojano for 62,000gns on behalf of Sociedad Civil Cuadra Alegria at the Tattersalls February Sale. The 3YO son of Soldier Hollow was "the obvious choice for today".

Having bred sports horses, Colbert is excited about the new venture, combining racing and breeding.

The Gr.2 Duchess Of Cambridge winner was sold at last year’s Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up for 525,000gns by Katie Walsh’s Greenhills Farm, having been bought by Mags O’Toole & Norman Williamson’s Oak Tree Farm for 80,000gns as a yearling.

The Tattersalls Tavern is a pub in London’s Knightsbridge Green with a rich history intertwined with Tattersalls.

We held sales in Knightsbridge Green from 1865 to 1939, with many of those attending the sales also spending some time in what was then known as the Packenham Arms.

The name was changed to the Tattersalls Tavern in 1958, commemorating the history of our sales in both Knightsbridge Green and, for the 99 years before that, just down the road at Hyde Park Corner.

The Tattersalls main offices were a few doors down from the pub in Knightsbridge Green right up until 1977, at which point our HQ became where we are now at Park Paddocks in Newmarket.

The catalogue for the Tattersalls February Sale is now online and features 331 lots including broodmares, horses in and out of training, two-year-olds and yearlings with the dams of 2024 Group 1 winners Los Angeles, Metropolitan and Facteur Cheval purchased at previous sales for a total of 66,800 guineas. The sale will feature the popular Tattersalls Stallion Parade as well as the inaugural Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) Showcase.
