Our KS2 curriculum planning focuses on the Citizenship, Drama and Personal, Social, Health and Economic areas of the KS2 curriculum. A great way for years 3 to 6 to learn and develop in these areas of the curriculum through first hand role play experiences!

Let's introduce you to the lovely Kelly who owns Pop Up Play Village in Chester, Wrexham, Whitchurch and Nantwich! Kelly runs regular play sessions in her local community as well as lots of school and early years visits, birthday parties and private bookings. Let's tell you more about Kelly:

Hi I'm Kelly, I’m a married Mum of two gorgeous but crazy boys! My career background is in healthcare, for the last 17 years I’ve worked for the NHS as a Physiotherapist, mainly working with adults with learning disabilities in community settings. I have always enjoyed working in this area and bringing positive changes to people’s lives.

I heard about Pop Up Play Village through a friend's recommendation. I instantly loved the ethos of the brand and the educational benefits it can bring and knew I wanted to be a part of it.

My boys have always loved role play as a parent I love to watch and engage in this play with them. I’ve always felt it gives a rare opportunity to see and understand the world as they see it, through their eyes, whether they’re being policemen, firefighters, chefs, builders or superheroes! I am passionate about the educational aspects gained from role play and the positive effects is has on the development of children’s social skills, communication and confidence.

I look forward to welcoming you to my play sessions. As well as offering play sessions I am also available for Parties, School and Pre-school sessions, play equipment hire, wedding entertainment and festivals, fayres and corporate events. I look forward to meeting you soon.

Our village ties in perfectly with Careers Week and tends to be one of the busiest weeks for us for school visits. We set up our village tailored to the group of children that we are working with so that children can test out different careers and get a feel for what each role is like. A great way to get a first hand and memorable experience of different jobs.
