This makes your wedding journey with us seamless and there’s no extra stress of having to find a seamstress to make your gown perfect! There are few really important things to remember in preparation for your first bridal fitting with our seamstress so that she can work to achieve the perfect fit for your gown: 1. The wedding dress! This may seem obvious but bringing the dress you need altered is crucial. 2. Undergarments and shapewear: Wear or bring the exact undergarments/shapewear that you’re planning to wear on your big day. This will ensure that the dress is altered to your exact shape and avoids any surprises on the day. 3. Shoes: Bring the shoes that you’ll be wearing on your wedding day so that the length can be altered perfectly, ensuring that the hemline is just right. 4. Accessories: If you have a jacket/bolero/ shawl/ belt or any other accessories that may need adjusting or adding to your gown, be sure to bring them along too. 5. Questions and notes: Write down any questions or concerns about the dress or alterations. This will make sure that you don’t forget to address anything important during your appointment.
