🌍 WTM London 2024 — Round 2 for me!

Back again at the world’s biggest travel playground, where every corner whispers “book another trip…” and every booth tempts you with food you can’t pronounce but absolutely need to try.

This event is HUGE! It is like “I-walked-25k-steps-and-still-missed-half-the-world” huge. Three days? Please. You’d need three months (and maybe a spare pair of legs) to see it all.

But that’s the magic of World Travel Market London. You never walk out satisfied… you walk out hungry for more.

When you go to a concert “just to enjoy”… and still end up photographing it 😅📸
Today Piotr and I went to see a certain iconic shock-rocker live and IT. WAS. WILD. 🤘🔥

For the first time in ages, I left my camera bag at home.
No Nikon Z7II, no 85mm, no extra lights… just me, the music, and my Google Pixel 9 Pro XL. 🫶

We stood all the way at the back of the venue, like proper adults with tired legs 😆 and I genuinely thought I wouldn’t be able to capture anything usable from there. My Pixel has a 5x optical telephoto lens + Super Res Zoom up to 30x, but I wasn’t expecting miracles in low light, heavy fog machines, and constant stage movement.

But GUESS WHAT?
These photos actually turned out pretty awesome! 👇✨
Proof that sometimes tech + timing + stubbornness = magic 🤳💫

Would I still choose my pro gear for client work? Absolutely.
But for nights like this, being present, dancing, yelling lyrics, and still snapping memories, this little phone ROCKS. 🤘📱

Great turn out

Today, my baby turns 16 – except he’s no baby anymore (though he still leaves empty cereal bowls everywhere, so jury’s out 👀🥣).

This young man just graduated high school 🎓, got into the college course of his dreams 🏫✨, and knows exactly what he wants in life – which is more than I can say when I was 16 (or let’s be honest... last week).

Tymon is the real deal: genuine, kind, a little sassy, and full of heart. 💖 Sensitive in the best way, and loving in a way that makes this family whole. He’s the glue between us (and also the loud gamer that keeps us awake 🎧😂).

He’s got a whole army of friends he cares deeply about, and we can see why they love him – he’s a good soul, with a wicked sense of humour, and the best hugger in the house (sorry, Zuza 🐶).

Happy 16th Birthday Tymon! You make us proud every day – now go out there and make the world a better (and maybe slightly louder) place. 💥❤️
