St John's Music Festival

promote the use of St. John’s Church within the community and as a concert venue

to raise money for the St. John's 2020Vision project - Improvement and development of the St. John's site for the local community

The festival will take place between 10.00am and 10.00pm on Saturday 22nd June and 8.00am and 8.00pm on Sunday 23rd June. Individuals, groups and larger ensembles from across the Island will play and sing a variety of musical genres in one hour and half hour slots back-to-back to ensure a continuity of music.

St. John's own Church choir will open the event, a "musical" church service is planned on the Sunday morning and the event will finish with ‘Songs of Praise’ on Sunday evening.

An exciting line up is planned including concert bands, marching bands, choirs, jazz ensembles, latin-american bands and smaller groups.

The festival will take place in the Church building, Church hall and grounds (weather permitting). Other activities will be planned to support the musical entertainment.
