What an absolute joy it was yesterday to be providing the musical entertainment for the Battle of Britain Proms at RAF Museum West Midlands.
6 hours of fabulous music 🎼🎤 many more hours of sunshine (it did get a bit hot! ☀️) 2,000 attendees, 6 incredible performances, a stirring Last Night of the Proms style finale and more flags than we could possibly count! 🇬🇧 🇺🇦
After two years of staying apart it was wonderful to see 2,000 people join hands with the person next to them to sing Auld Lang Syne. 🥰
Very grateful thanks and admiration to all our performers who battled through the heat to give flawless and engaging performances Cosford Military Wives ChoirThe Ronnie SingersString InfusionCharlie GreenLymm Concert Band . Incredible performances from everyone even when the heat was enough to melt the strings! 🎻
Big thanks to Paul Shuttleworth and Ryan Kennedy for hosting the afternoon and evening for us and for managing to squeeze in so many shout outs and Birthday mentions! 😁
Thanks also to our Fizz Festivals team David Lane Emma Cantillion Fiona Abbotts and the Fizz Festivals family Leigh Brownie Brown and Sue Lane for putting on a great show and smiling through despite the heat!
As usual there wasn't much time to take pictures, but here are a few 'borrowed' from friends and family there on the day. Thankfully the official event photographer and videographer will have done a much better job of capturing the event!

We’ve all been tempted by an outdoor event, but then been put off by the thought of huge crowds, parking miles away and stinky toilets! So, we created Fizz Festivals to deliver the sort of festival-style events that you can take your children, parents, grandparents, or even a group of friends along to.

Fizz Festivals brings big music names to venues across the Midlands and North West, but alongside this provides a platform for local acts to perform on the same stage, with great sound and lighting in front of a big, friendly crowd.

We add to the music, with fantastic street food traders and brilliant bars, offering everything from craft ales, to cocktails and of course, several types of fizz!
