📢 The Kashmir Fringe Festival fundraiser weekend is back! 📢

🎺 We're looking for bands/performers who would like to play at the relaunched Kashmir Fringe Festival on February 8th and 9th next year. As with the Kashmir Cafe stage at the IOW Festival the Fringe Festival will be raising funds for Quay Arts.

🍺 Alongside some amazing music, we will also have some fantastic home cooked food and a selection of casked beers supplied by Island Ales (including the festival favourite Cherry Beer!) 🍺

Isle of Wight Festival 2024 was a classic! Huge thanks to everyone who came to Kashmir Cafe, bought a beer, supported our charity, and danced to our amazing bands.

A massive thank you as ever to the festival and John Giddings for letting us be a part of their show, and to our amazing team of volunteers, musicians, sound & stage crew, bar team, builders and breakers. We really couldn't do it without you!

We welcome MYRIAD!

Myriad's sound expresses catchy guitar licks, nostalgic vocals and authentic lyrics.

The South-coast four-piece (David, Jared, OJ, and Oscar) played a run of summer festivals including appearances at Victorious Festival, Teddy Rocks, Southampton Guildhall Square, and Gosport Waterfront Festival, and have received extensive support from the likes of BBC Introducing Solent, Voice FM, Express FM and Sam FM.

After receiving endorsements from the likes of Indie Central, Left Bank Magazine, InTune Music, and RGM Magazine, Myriad have just finished their debut U.K tour and are now working towards releasing their newest E.P.

We welcome Steve Young UK & The Real Time Players!

Steve Young is a former Island resident now living in Hertfordshire where he been a big part of local music music scene teaching hundreds of musicians & songwriters old and young. Steve moved from the Isle of Wight to London in the 90’s after securing a global record deal with Warner/ZTT as guitarist for the band Rehab. His career side-stepped into sessions with appearances on Top Of The Pops with Peter Andre (Mysterious Girl), Gareth Gates (Suspicious Minds) and performing on V Graham Norton with Lionel Richie. In 2007 he joined ex Savage Garden frontman Darren Hayes as his touring guitarist for over 5 years. More recently Steve has written and released three albums, featuring on the UK’s Caffe Nero playlist, Radio 2, Under The Apple Tree (Bob Harris), C2C, Edinburgh Fringe, Cornbury, Black Deer Festival, Old Town Live, UK tours and local venues. 2023 notched up a staggering 157 shows alongside teaching in three different schools across Herts & Beds. Steve & band played the Kashmir Cafe for the first time in 2023 are excited as ever to showcase brand new material at this fantastic 'home coming' festival.

We welcome our very SPECIAL GUEST Mr.B The Gentleman Rhymer!

Mr.B invented chap-Hop in the summer of 2007.

Since then he has travelled the world, spreading his beats, rhymes and manners.

He has recorded 13 albums and his videos have garnered millions of views on YouTube. He has rapped for Jeremy Paxman on Newsnight and for Rob Da Bank, Steve Lamacq, Claudia Winkleman, Tom Robinson, Shaun Keaveny on the radio and for Zoe Ball on Sky TV.

He has been described as ‘a cross between the home service and Run DMC’ by the Evening Standard, ‘Too funny and dope’ by Nile Rodgers, and ‘Controversial’ by the Daily Mail.
