The Karen Dornellie Artisan Collection is the centre of bridal excellence on the Isle of Wight. With an extensive experience, great reputation and proven track record in the bridal industry, I will be on hand to help brides have a smooth journey to perfect wedding day. I can advise you on shape

and styling and make your dream dress on the premises. With my design background and sewing experience including as a costume maker for film and theatre you know you will be in good hands. A personal and unique service adapted to each and every bride. With close working relationships with other island wedding suppliers I can also help suggest reputable companies to assist you including steaming your dress if you are travelling to the island for your big day, dressing on the day and a service to collect and clean your gown to ensure you can preserve it forever. I am available for alterations but this is dependant on my bespoke and couture work so please get in touch to discuss your requirements. I may be able to suggest one of the islands seamstresses to help you if I am not free. I have my own design collection to view with a new system allowing all sizes to be able to try a sample. Each design however can be ordered in a choice of fabrics, finishes and embellishments dependant on your style, ideas and budget. I also have a new concept for those who wish to make their own dress or know a great dressmaker who can. With patterns printed to your personal size plus access to thousands of fabric sample, you can truly create a unique design for yourself with no need for compromise. You have had the best day and now can relax and enjoy married life.

One thing to consider, however is to look after your beautiful wedding dress.

Whether you are wishing to keep it or sell it, a professional clean is crucial to ensure it stays perfect for you.

Stains such as perfume or water may not show initially but over time, especially if it isn't stored correctly will deteriorate and destroy your gown.

Over my time as a bridal designer I have only ever recommended Nickie and her team at Boxed Bridal
Not only the most professional company but really passionate about their job and will only accept the best standards before returning your precious dress, veil or shoes.

I am proud to announce that I will now be able to look after your wedding dress not only before the big day, but also afterwards too.

I am working with Boxed Bridal to offer the island brides a professional bridal specialist wedding dress cleaning and preserving service.

I have trusted Nickie and her team with all of my own brides over the years and each time I am blown away with the results and the care they take on all the dresses that come their way.

Prices start at £95 for tea length wedding dresses with most full length styles at £195. (Pricing will be confirmed once I have seen it)

If you are looking to have your beautiful dress cleaned or boxed to keep, please get in touch for a quote.
