Proud to announce you’ve raised over £1000 so far and continue to raise funds from events at Penhallow House for Children's Hospice South West. Little Harbour is an amazing facility that helps families with respite and support for end of life care for young people with terminal illness. Their work provides dignity for the dying and eases the passage for the living who are left behind.

When Brian Kramer from Brooklyn was barely out of his teens he was hanging out with legendary blues men, picking up tips and advice from folks such as Buddy Guy and
Junior Wells when they would visit his hometown in N.Y.C.
Junior took a particular liking to Brian and paid careful attention in showing him the right
moves and how to play from the heart. Junior would join Brian on his first record Brian Kramer and the Bluesmasters featuring Junior Wells, Win or Lose. He backed Brian up on almost every track and Brian backed Junior up on four of his songs.
Former Rolling Stone, Mick Taylor was also part of these sessions as well as a gathering of the finest, most respected sidemen in the U.S.

Throughout the 90’s Brian toured and continued to be a fixture within the New York club scene, performing frequently with the great Blues man Larry Johnson until re-locating overseas, seeking a broader range of opportunities.
He has since travelled the globe touring through the U.S. and Canada, throughout England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Germany, Scandinavia, South Africa, Portugal and Japan and recorded/ performed with world class artists such as;
Eric Bibb, Taj Mahal, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Toumani Diabate, Isabella Lundgren to name just a few.
His past releases have received great acclaim and praise and many have coined the new praise “uplifting-blues” when referring to Brian’s recordings;
“ Brian Kramer produces one splendid song after another. Beautiful songs full of nostalgia, but at the same time ultra-modern. All this qualifies Brian Kramer as a reflection of the new reality of the blues in the 21st century.”

Just an update on our programme our Disco on the 19th July is cancelled!!!! However just reconfirming that our annual festival on the 7th September is all confirmed and we have D M Street headlining as well as other supporting acts the entry will be £20 per adult kids go free and includes a meal and half price happy hour drinks from 7-8pm courtesy of The Pheasant, St Newlyn East remember all profits this year go to Heli2 and Little Harbour!!!!

Quite a
month down at Penhallow House, firstly thanks for your support for last months event we have £180 in our charity pot for this coming season for Little Harbour and Heli2 …… The Chocolate Club had is sales debut at The Cannes Film Festival this week and continues to win awards and nominations once we have a UK screening date will update you it’s Cornish private screening is this month followed by a launch party at the House in the 21st June I have a waitlist for tickets if you are interested email us …. we also hosted our first 2024 wedding and are taking bookings for 2025 with some dates still available ….. The Glade wellness programme is getting busy and well attended in its debut month so make sure you book ahead …. more from the Penhallow House team as this exciting season unfolds…..
