Hello from me, Hayley🧚

I’ve never done a full introduction on socials before, but I’ve read a few from others recently and found out a few cute things I never knew, so, here goes:

Before blooms, I worked in fashion marketing in London (where I was born and raised). Fun fact: in my role as Social Media Exec I launched the Instagram and would go on their photoshoots to capture BTS content 📸

I moved to Cornwall at age 29 and studied my floristry qualification at 30. Proof that you can spend your twenties figuring it all out (and focus on having fun) and change your life direction at any time!

Most days, I’m an absolute hot mess. I’ve fully embraced this quality and have let it be my creative superpower.

Our flower studio in Wesley Yard is beautiful chaos, myself and the team love embracing our business ethos of ‘no two days the same’.

Walk-ins for fresh florals are welcome Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays - otherwise we send dried bouquets nationwide and focus on workshops, weddings, events and tablescapes.

I LOVE to travel and need new sights and experiences to recharge and inspire me. We usually close our studio in January and I’m already dreaming up my next trip - India and Mexico are both high on the list. Cast your votes!?

As well as running Blooms, I love to freelance and teach florals and enjoyed a Winter stint in London earlier this year at Hackney’s finest 🌿

Always ambitious, high on my list for Blooms next year is a collaboration with a fashion brand or two and the introduction of a Blooms Floral School, think e-books and how-to guides 🌸
