The bones of Treseren are that of a family home - four walls that have witnessed years of love and laughter, the current chapter of which we are lucky to share in. We invite guests to stay for two or three nights because we want you to spend quality time in this special place, to make your own mark on the history of Treseren.

We always plan a gentle start to the year at Treseren, with blocks of time saved for important behind the scenes jobs and preparations for what’s to come.

We’ve been treated to some magical small weddings already in 2024, and after a short Easter break with our families we will be ready (clipboards in hand), for the start of ‘wedding season’.

It never passes us by just how lucky we are to do what we do - when the seed was planted for us to try our hand at being a wedding venue, we had no idea it would bring us to where we are today.

National Historic Building Wedding Venue of the Year!!

We ventured out of Cornwall for an exciting evening at the The Wedding Industry Awards in London last night. As a micro venue in Cornwall, to be considered alongside 7 amazing venues across the country was a huge achievement to us, and we were already feeling very proud to be regional winner.

We are absolutely delighted (and a little overwhelmed) to share that we were announced as the national winners! We are so thankful for this recognition of Treseren and our amazing team, who work so hard to create magical wedding experiences for each and every one of our couples.

The judging was decided by a panel of wedding industry experts, but we got to this stage thanks to our amazing couples who took the time to vote for us and share their Treseren story. We cannot thank you enough for firstly trusting us with your most special of days, and then becoming a part of Treseren history - we light tomorrow with today, as generations past and generations to come weave new magic into the history of this special place.

Have you considered a midweek wedding? Weekend weddings are fabulous of course - but there are some great benefits from choosing a weekday to say ‘I do’, and with a small guest list you’ll likely find that your favourite people are on board too.

We are delighted to have been announced as the South West Historic Wedding Venue of the year in the The Wedding Industry Awards. We feel lucky to be the current custodians of this historic building and part of our ethos is to weave new magic into the spirit of place with the heartfelt vows, love and marriage that are now celebrated within these walls. We have some exciting news to share! This year we nervously entered the The Wedding Industry Awards and we are delighted to tell you that we won! We are the South West Regional Winners of the Historic Building Wedding Venue Category and we could not be be more thrilled.

It was an absolute honour to be amongst some of the best wedding professionals in the South West at these prestigious awards and what makes this extra special for us is that our lovely couples voted for us to be here.

We cannot thank you enough and can’t wait to see where this magical small wedding journey takes us next!

2024 Availability - If you are planning a magical small wedding next year, then we have just one spring/summer weekend available - Saturday 13th April 2024.

Spring is such a beautiful time in the Treseren gardens, with the hydrangeas, rhododendrons and camellias creating a dreamy ceremony backdrop on the front lawn. Louise and Jono had our first garden ceremony this year on the 4th April and were basked in glorious sunshine!

We also have some great weekday availability throughout the year and would love to hear from you.

We know it’s a little early but… we would love to run a wreath making workshop with expert tuition from Emily at 3acre blooms again this year. However, with weekends looking busy we are considering a cosy evening session on Thursday 7th December at 6pm.

Tickets would be £60 each and would of course include a cocktail/mocktail and delicious festive treats.

We're very excited to share our latest project with you today - our very own Treseren Apple Juice!

Every year we have a glut of apples from our orchard and whilst copious amounts of apple crumble is always enjoyed by all, we have often talked of how wonderful it would be to serve our own apple juice at the breakfast table.

Sustainability has always been a key consideration in everything we do, with the food and drink we serve travelling as few food miles as possible.
