We’re delighted to share the exciting news with you that Treseren has been awarded National Wedding Venue of the Year Historic Building in The Wedding Industry Awards 2025 for the second consecutive year.

Emma and Izzy travelled to London for the glamorous awards evening at The Underglobe on London’s Southbank and gathered with industry finalists from across the country in 27 categories to nervously await the results.

It was especially lovely to celebrate our win with fellow Cornish Wedding Industry professional Cassie, from Cornwall Caricatures. We have worked with Cassie on a number of Treseren weddings and we were delighted when she was announced as the very deserving winner of the ‘Best Special Touch’ category.

‘Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful’ - with these wise words from William Morris heralding our way, we’ve been working on an exciting project at Treseren and we are delighted to formally introduce you to our glamorous new downstairs bathroom!

Wedding morning moments - Did you know that Treseren has accommodation for 12 people? That means there is no rushing about and travelling to and from different venues, everything happens under one roof and you can enjoy a calm morning getting ready whilst we work our magic downstairs! It’s always so exciting welcoming all the different suppliers on a wedding morning and seeing everything come together.

Lauren and Nick had the most magical family elopement with their two gorgeous children - complete with disco balls, the most fabulous cake and a picnic on the beach. Lauren fully embraced our advice that a small wedding can still be big on style and we loved all of little details that made this day so unique!

Whilst we’re busy preparing for our last winter weddings of the year (the tree is happening next week!), we’re also in planning mode for next summer - and dining outside on the terrace is always a popular option for a magical garden party wedding vibe.

It’s awards season in the wedding world and team Treseren were excited to venture out of Cornwall this week for the south west award ceremony for The Wedding Industry Awards at Aldwick Estate in Bristol.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening at Truro Cathedral last night for the Cornwall Tourism Awards, and are delighted to share that we won Gold for Wedding Venue of the Year!

We were also awarded Bronze for Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Tourism which means so much to us, and marks just how far we have come on our sustainability journey.
