If Only We Had This Weather Last Wednesday🌦️

🤩 It’s been a whole week already since Summercourt fair day! Where has that week gone?

❤️ We’ve loved all the positive feedback from so many of you, and although the weather did SOAK us on the day and blew away some traders gazebos, we still had a brilliant day.

🙏🏼 To all the traders that stuck it out with us, thank you!

😍🎉 What A Week! 🎉😍

We have had an incredible week here at Summercourt. The support and enthusiasm behind everyone we have spoken to has been amazing!

From saying how well advertised it’s been, to saying how great it was to see the fabulous street market back and to wanting our fair to continue for many more years to come.

With the challenges of the weather, we still pulled off a great week with Saturday being the busiest from start to finish 🥰

It was great to see so many people enjoying themselves and taking in the atmosphere!

💫 In memory of John Thomas Ernest lock

Date of birth 6-5-1932

Who sadly passed peacefully today at his home in Gloucester

‘Then they blow there horns’

He was a west country showman that loved all the traditions of the fair

In fact our gallopers used to belong to he’s grandmother Amy Lock.

So, in respect of a true showman, we will be holding a minutes silence at 5pm tonight finished off by the engines blowing their whistle 🎠

With the forecast giving weather warnings for Sunday, we have made the decision to make tomorrow our LAST DAY here at Summercourt Fair

So to go out with some STEAM- we are having some original Showman’s Steam Engines joining us from 2pm 🕑

Bingo tonight at London Inn Summercourt!

We will be doing cash bingo, with whatever proceeds made will be used as prizes for the bingo games, as well as a charity raffle!

Booking of tables will be essential due to limited capacity in the pub.

The more players, the higher the cash prize 🏆💰🎉

8:30pm for eyes down around 9pm-9:30pm (depending when the fair closes)
