Arts on the Beach in Watergate Bay!🐳

All this weekend this brilliant event takes place right on the beach, from 11am and FREE to attend!

Watergate Bay Hotels family festival is back with packed days of theatre, music and dance, a giant puppet roaming the shores, creative and performance workshops and talks in the Discovery Zone and seafaring tales in our 18 metre long Whale Theatre.

Refuel amidst the action with our beach bbq, My Mum Makes Thai and Poppy's paella and quench your thirst at the St Austell Brewery bar.

Settle in for an evening dancing on the sand with a Silent Disco on Saturday from 5pm and Weapons on Sound playing Sunday from 5pm!

Been a lot of positive and negative views about our (being Cornwall)’s attempt at launching a rocket into space. Last night the atmosphere was electric. The sheer amount of work and investment into this project is palpable, but wow, those people who made this attempt happen deserve a lot of credit. Silent Disco Newquay is the original and best silent disco in the south west. It has been growing from strength to strength, providing quality entertainment to thousands of people. Resident at Fistral beach bar from the start and prooving very popular at weddings, festivals and private parties. Using only very experienced Djs and the very latest 3 channel LED bass enhanced silent disco headphones on the market.

Just recently ago we started Silent Disco yoga working with Oceanflow yoga and now host events seeing over 200 people practicing yoga with our headsets on, enjoying a unique experience in fantastic locations such as Fistral beach and the Eden Project. We are in the process of silent meditation and fitness practices outside and hope to launch structured events soon.

We are in an age where variety in entertainment is vital, the silent disco provides this. With a massive spectrum of ages and genres of music under 1 roof, you are given the option to sing, dance to 2 or 3 channels of music, or take your headphones off and enjoy a bar environment.

Our aim was to let people have fun with no pretentiousness, no inhibitions, just to sing and dance as if they were in their own living room, witnessing our monthly events at the beach bar its safe to say we’ve achieved this!
