Forest bathing or ‘shinrin-yoku’ was first developed in Japan in the 1980s, a practice proven to reduce blood pressure, lower levels of the stress hormone, cortisol, and improve concentration and memory.

Meet the Winemaker 🍷

Kit Weaver, son of Sophia Berquist, is the third generation of owners pioneering Quinta de la Rosa, Portugal.

Mamma Mia!! Suzie ‘Agnetha’ Starr, member of the Abba tribute band, ‘Abbadabbado’ has been found dead in her dressing room. The cause of death is as yet unknown but foul play is suspected. Murder, it seems, is the name of the game!

The suspects are her fellow band members Jim ‘Benny’ Baird, Viv ‘Frida’ Ashe, Pete ‘Bjorn’ Patterson and Jane ‘Agnetha’ Anderson.

However this is show business and the show must go on. Expect an evening of Dancing Queens and Super Troupers, with classic hits to sing along to as Abbadabbadoo perform for our guests live!

We’ve sent out an S.O.S and we need your help! You are tasked with investigating Suzie’s death and ensuring that the truth is revealed! We can’t guarantee your safety but we can guarantee that the Winner Takes it All!

Lubo Mulkern wins the Springboard FutureChef Final 2025 ⭐

1,180 students applied for the FutureChef competition, with only seven selected for the Northern Ireland finals.

Mentored by Killeavy Castle Estate Executive Chef, Darragh Dooley, Lubo spent six weeks in the award winning Gullion at Killeavy kitchen, learning the methods that would set him ahead of the competition.

Reflecting on Lubo's progress and recent win, Executive Chef Darragh Dooley says: "From the moment Lubo entered the kitchen, you could see he had immense enthusiasm and passion for cooking. Over the past six weeks, Lubo has demonstrated great determination to improve his skill - he has been an honour to teach and I know this is just the beginning of his very promising career. Congratulations Lubo, on a very well deserved win."

Lubo will compete in the next stages of the competition in London in March. Congratulations Lubo, the team at Killeavy Castle Estate are behind you every step of the way!
