Back in 2019 we provided sound, lighting and backline for Empire Leisure’s 10th anniversary showcase and every act during the whole event was awesome!

Yesterday we provided a sound and lighting package for the fantastic Bristol based funktydumpty at a private wedding near Guildford.

Audio system was Nexo PS10R2/LS600 with Yamaha TF-Rack/Tio1608D providing 8 stereo IEM mixes - 2 Sennheiser wireless IEM mixes and 6 Fischer IEM wired mixes.

Lighting system was Chauvet DJ Par Bars, Floor LED Pars and Battens, all connected with D-Fi wireless DMX controlled by Luminair.

The band went down a storm and a great night was had by all!

“Never work with children or animals!” They say, yet here we are again a couple of weeks after providing production services for a dog based festival!! 😆

Over the last week we provided a small amount of lighting for the St Christopher’s Prep School Years 5 & 6 production of Aladdin Jr!

At the helm, no other than our own Prep 6’er Frankie! He did an amazing job and the performance was a great success!

Today we provided services to 2 funerals to help people celebrate and say goodbye to their loved ones. Several logistical challenges were presented as the services were concurrent but fortunately the locations were relatively close to each other!

The first was a livestream with viewers in Canada 🇨🇦, Denmark 🇩🇰, Germany 🇩🇪, the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 and New Zealand 🇳🇿. This was delivered via our bespoke streaming service, tailored to each individual clients’ requirements.

The second was an audio relay system to relay the service outside the church to those who couldn’t fit into the already packed to capacity church. The beautiful weather meant that just under 400 people were present to say goodbye.

Well, what a weekend we just had at Woofstock UK 2024! This festival gets better and better every year!

We provided the stage, sound, lighting, screen, stage power and event WiFi (or PawFi in this case!).

There was an amazing lineup of bands and it was a pleasure to work with all of them: Joanna Alice Cooke, Courtnay Reddy as Avril Lavigne, Young Elton - The Tribute Show, Do It Like Dua - A Tribute To Dua Lipa, I LOVE AMP, Superstition, Dani Graham - Definitely Dolly Tribute, Sir Tom & The TJ BIG BAND, Pure Paloma, Taylor Swift Tribute by Katy Ellis, Banned from the Moor & Fleetwood Shack.

Yesterday we provided a sound and lighting package for the fantastic Capitol Motown & Soul Band.

Audio system was Nexo PS10R2/LS600 with Yamaha TF-Rack/Tio1608D with 2 Sennheiser wireless IEM mixes and 6 Fischer IEM wired mixes, all in stereo.

Last Thursday we took a trip up the M5 to the Roses Theatre, Tewkesbury.

We were working again with our good friends The Lorna & Laister Show.

Matinee performances are still taking a bit of getting used to but the audiences absolutely love this show. You can’t beat a bit of good old fashioned variety!

Last Friday we headed up to Porlock to provide audio relay services for a funeral service. The church isn’t huge and there were a lot of people who wanted to attended the service, so we relayed the service outside at the front and at the side of the church.

In addition to this, a basic record of the service was requested, so we positioned an iPhone at the back of the church and used Filmic Pro to get the most out of the phone’s camera. The audio was recorded directly from the mixer and overlayed onto the phone footage afterwards.

Last week we provided a screen and a splash of coloured lighting for an event our friends over at The Music Depot in Exeter were hosting.

The event was titled “How To Sight Read” and was an event by Paul Harris. We found the presentation really interesting! If you are interested in learning to sight read, no matter what age you might be, his latest book is a must have!

Yesterday we were in Wales with our good friends Steve & Lorna from the The Lorna & Laister Show.

Matinee shows are always a little strange as it’s still very early in the day for musicians! The sellout audience however were very much ready for it and an amazing time was had by all!

Well, what a show! Yesterday was the first theatre performance for new ABBA tribute show, The Winner Takes It All.

With a sell out crowd the cast took the audience through an immaculately performed selection of ABBA’s greatest hits.

This is the first show from the newly formed L&L Production Management, in association with Majestic Events.

We look forward to providing sound and lighting production services to all of their new shows.

We’re using a ALLEN & HEATH SQ6 for the FOH mix and 6 stereo IEM mixes, Nexo PS10R2/LS600 sound system, Sennheiser microphones and wireless IEMs and Fischer wired IEMs. Lighting wise we provided a floor package of LED PARs, moving wash lights and battens, with Chamsys control.

Yesterday we were in rehearsals for one of a selection of new touring theatre shows from the excellent creative team that are L&L Production Management.

The first show, The Winner Takes It All is a fresh approach to the ABBA greatest hits catalogue with a team of fantastic musicians and singers delivering what will undoubtedly be a fantastic night.
