What a night! Thanks so much to all of my beautiful couples who voted and got my work in front of the Wedding Industry Awards judges. It wasn't my night tonight, no wedding videographer crown yet, but I still had an amazing evening rubbing shoulders with some of the best wedding suppliers in the South West. Honoured and humbled just to be in the room with all the other finalists, the talent at the is amazing.

It was so lovely catching up with some supplier friends and making new ones. Congratulations to everyone there, win or lose, it was a great excuse to get dolled up and celebrate us all. We all have the best jobs, in the most rewarding industry.

Now to wind down 2023, finish off my last few edits so that I can spend quality time with family and friends over Christmas, before starting 2024 with a bang. I'm excited for the New Year and looking forward to capturing many more wonderful weddings.

My uncle married an Italian, so of course they had a fresh cream limoncello cake. Decorated with candied lemons and mini home made limoncello bottles. I'm pretty sad to say that I had to leave before they cut the cake (because of a 2.5 hour drive home from Cardiff and a wedding the next day) so I didn't get to taste it, but by all accounts it was delicious!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

My uncle did a thing. My uncle and his now wife Franca got married in Cowbridge, nr Cardiff and asked me to capture natural, candid and the inbetween moments.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Franca had a special request to get a shot of them walking the zebra crossing (like the Beatles on Abbey Road) during the short walk from the church to their reception venue. I think they nailed it.

Thanks to all the new followers, welcome to my little corner of the internet, hopefully I can fill your feed with all the cool wedding things. So here I am, and here are a few things you may not know about me:​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​- I'm a massive music lover. and try to go to a major festival at least once a year. (Except this year, instead I'm going to France to watch some of the rugby world cup.)
- I love rugby (see above) and once broke my leg playing rugby so bad I had to have pins through my ankle and I've STILL got a plate in it.
- I'm engaged and planning a festival wedding. Think food trucks, glitter, sequins and all our fave local bands.
- I met the future Mr at kickboxing training. We still train together now. I know, I know, couple goals right?!
- My favourite meal is breakfast. All the types of eggs, scrambled, fried, poached and if there's bacon - even better.
- I'm nostalgic about late 80s / early 90s cartoons so of course named my cats Sharky & George.
- I've been capturing weddings for 7 years and still to this day think that it's the best job in the world. Lucky me, I get to hang out with people (that I'd be friends with) all day one of the biggest days of their lives and soak up all of the love and happy feels.

Mobile comms are down. I (annoyingly) dropped my phone and somehow found the weak spot which crumbled a corner of the screen. Screen no likey. I've a totally broken phone.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​My shiny new phone should be arriving tomorrow. Once I've set it all up I should be up and running as per normal towards the end of the week.
