Open to public visitors until November 14th, two of our leading sculpture artists have designed, produced and curated a sustainable digital art installation in the heart of London's financial district.

Giving the public an opportunity to step into the future of London, ‘The Portal’ is an immersive piece that brings Eastern City BID's vision of Camomile Street's potential to reality using intricate digital technology.

Viewed through the screen of a smartphone, 'The Portal' reveals the immediate area as a pedestrianised, green space that is universally accessible in line with Eastern City’s plans for its streets and public venues.

As we continue to explore the inspiring possibilities of within entertainment, we are delighted to share an exciting Augmented Reality project that has just been unveiled in the heart of London!

Giving the public an opportunity to step into the future of London, ‘The Portal’ is an immersive installation that brings Eastern City’s vision of the future of Camomile Street to life through the use of digital technology.

Our pioneering artists Jonas Johansson and Erik Schmitz were selected to co-produce the immersive experience in the centre of London’s financial district for our client Eastern City BID.

Viewed through the screen of a smartphone, The Portal reveals the street as a pedestrianised, green space that is accessible for all in line with Eastern City’s plans for its future in reality.

Visitors are invited to scan a QR code and visually transport themselves into a reimagined Camomile Street that is closed to traffic and transformed into an inviting public space.

The Portal installation is free to view from 14th October - 14th November, 2024 🎨
