In true welcoming Creetown tradition the event will be opened by our Ferry Queen Allie Hughes.We want this opening to be a real family event. We will have local traditional dancers, musical performance and a chance to bevthe first to see what we have in store.. We look forward to seeing you on the night. An event to celebrate the best of Creetown, it's heritage and supporting the local community.

Women's Art Women's Lives. There is lots of work behind the scene getting it ready. We want you to be part of this great event.

Celebrate the women who have shaped our community and inspired us through history. This
compelling exhibition brings together art, photography, poetry, and audio-visual installations to
highlight the contributions, creativity, and stories of the women of Creetown and beyond.

Through a stunning collection of photographs, we honour local women and the diverse roles they
have played—mothers, carers, workers, administrators, and creators. Their contributions to the
community, though often overlooked, are central to its history and vitality.

The exhibition also showcases a variety of artistic works from local artists, poets, and visionaries. It
celebrates the creative spirit of the women in our community and pays tribute to well-known women
throughout history who have inspired us to dream bigger and do more.

Women’s stories haven’t always been as well-documented as men’s, but this exhibition is a step
toward bringing them to life. We hope it will inspire you to reflect on your own unique creativity, the
roles women play in shaping our world, and how we can continue to celebrate their contributions.

Join us in honouring the past, present, and future of women in our community and beyond. Let’s
celebrate the artist within all of us.
