​We invite you to make our beautiful and luxurious venue your own for the day: a welcoming and relaxing space, with a genuine and attentive team to help you celebrate. We can cater to all occasions whether this is a birthday, wedding, anniversary or funeral…we can do it all. Hire

We hire a minimum of 25 guests and a maximum of 60 under current Covid Regulations – this includes exclusive hire of t

he whole building and outside terrace; prosecco on arrival and mini fish and chips cone for all guests. Hire cost starts from £500 for 25 guests and an extra £20 per head will be charged for each additional guest. Hire of our venue also includes 2 30 minutes consultations to consider how we can work with you to plan your event and make an unforgettable day; this includes discussing extra details such as:

Well, that's the end of an era!

A bittersweet day as I handed over the keys after 15 incredible years. It’s been a nostalgic moment, reflecting on everything we’ve built and the memories we’ve shared (and yes, I really did try everything along the way—Steaks on the rock, tapas, themed nights, fine dining, Santa's grotto, weddings, you name it!).

From opening night to handing over the keys today, this restaurant has been more than just a business—it’s been a family affair, a home for friends, a place filled with laughter, music, and unforgettable memories.

Sharing some special photos from opening night all those years ago and today’s handover as I passed over this beautiful space to Emma and her family. Wishing them every success and happiness ahead. I can’t wait to come back as a guest and try the new flavours they'll bring to the table. Keep your eyes out for the opening day. 👀

📣The Granary Has Officially Closed Its Doors 😢

It may not come as a surprise to many, but it is with a heavy heart that we are now announcing that The Granary has permanently closed its doors. This decision was made at the beginning of the year, and after months of deliberation and trying to find the right words, we are finally ready to share this news.

We want to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who has supported us throughout our journey, from the days when we were known as Mirrens to our time as The Granary. It’s been one hell of a ride, filled with many highs and lows, but we will always look back on this venture with happiness and pride.

Although our chapter has come to an end, the story of The Granary doesn’t have to. We are currently in the process of selling the lease and are waiting for the right person, with the right passion, to take the reins.

If you believe that could be you, please do get in touch. We may be finished, but it doesn’t mean the doors have to be closed forever.

Our new approach nods at our owner's love of Spanish hospitality; creating a warm & welcoming atmosphere where our customers can treat themselves, family and friends whilst sampling a curated wine list of local suppliers in the heart of Mid Wales. Our doors open on the 11th of September and we eagerly await your arrival.
